The newcomer was a petite, adorable girl with emerald-green eyes. She sat in a dark corner, her gaze seeming to shine like a hunting snake's—utterly chilling.
"This is one of my prosthetic bodies. A mechanical body cannot enter openly."
The girl spoke, her voice equally cold.
"Could you be... Gray Serpent?"
"Yes."
Gray Serpent brushed back her messy black-gray hair. Deprived of sunlight for too long, her biological body had a malnourished pallor.
Raven froze.
Gray Serpent stared at Raven. "I detected an increase in your heart rate. Is there a problem?"
"No, none at all."
Raven shook her head desperately.
Gray Serpent lowered her head, clenching and unclenching her soft fist as though she was not used to it.
"I am not surprised by your strangeness."
"Flesh is truly inconvenient."

"I was involved in Anti-Entropy's clone experiment project and took some of their technology while I was at it."
