It was always so quiet here.
Along with the rippling stars came the little girl's cries, so faint they were like a kitten's whimper. But this place was so quiet that even the sound of a feather being carried on the wind would be amplified to the utmost. Her crying was so clear that it could not be ignored.
But she was the only one here.
Whenever someone arrived, she fearfully swallowed every sound, even concealing her very existence, and thus avoided being discovered.
Her name was Seele.
Her petite body gradually appeared. She wore a pure white pleated skirt with an elegant lake-blue lining. A large expanse of skin was exposed across her back, where a supple, crescent-shaped crimson Stigma emerged. It was what allowed her to survive in quantum space. Without it, Seele's very existence would be stripped away.
"Why won't you let me make a move?"
A red-and-black figure appeared behind her, arrogance written across its brow.

Seele cried out. Her tears vanished in an instant. Only in matters like this could she be so strong, even daring to fight the darkness that had materialized from the depths of her heart. Only things involving Sister Bronya could make her this way.
