The black, hard Mighty Gauntlets that could punch such terrifying enemies to death had somehow become a machine for casually making popcorn in Zhao Bai's hands.

Zhao Bai held the popcorn out before Mei with both hands, looking thoroughly pleased with himself as its rich aroma wafted through the air.
"Do you have an appetite?"
It was obviously just popcorn, so why did it feel like a magic trick meant to cheer up a girl?
Mei suddenly burst out laughing. Her earlier worry and bewilderment vanished in an instant. She picked up a piece of popcorn, placed it in her mouth, and slowly chewed, letting the flavor bloom across her tongue.
The freshly made popcorn was still steaming.
It was just plain corn kernels with no sugar added, so the sweetness was faint, leaving behind a very light flavor instead.
The first bite was crisp and slightly soft.
By the second bite, her tongue could no longer detect any crumbs. The popcorn had already completely melted in Mei's mouth.
What an exquisite taste!
Before she knew it, all the popcorn was gone.
