A moment earlier, just after they had emerged from the passage inside the First's stone face on Hokage Mountain, they had encountered two Anbu Ninjas wearing animal masks. The moment they saw Tsunade, they greeted her.
Tsunade exchanged a passphrase with them, then waved for the two Anbu to leave.
"Security's that strict?" Wu Yu sensed the Anbu as they Body Flickered away and looked surprised. "What kind of place is this, that even the Hokage has to prove her identity?"
Left Mysterious Minato, wearing a hood and a Dog Mask, said quietly, "The First's body is kept here."
Wu Yu was even more surprised. He'd thought Hashirama Senju's body had been buried ages ago.
So it hadn't even been laid to rest? Had it been studied in Konoha's medical laboratory all these years?
Still, though he was surprised, he wasn't all that shocked.
Orochimaru had fallen out of favor with the Third Hokage because he insisted on conducting experiments on living subjects—and on abducting people from his own village and cutting them open while they were still alive. It had all been far too ugly. But Big Hashirama was long dead, and donating one's body to advance medicine and ninjutsu was a different matter for a shinobi.

He followed Tsunade and the Left Mysterious Clone inside and looked around. The glass wall, its inner surface thick with greenery, curved and stretched away to either side.
