Kaguya: I'm Sealed, Not Dead

After the Survival Exercise, everyone was filthy and drenched in sweat. Wu Yu and the three members of Team Seven each went home to put away their ninja tools, shower, and change into clean clothes.

"The Mysterious Clone has cooled down already. Time to pull again!"

Before heading out, Wu Yu rubbed his hands together and formed a hand seal—Right Mysterious Clone, activate!

With a puff, someone unfamiliar appeared—a guy without even a headband.

"What are his Strength, Speed, and Stamina and Chakra Reserves?" Wu Yu stared at the Right Mysterious Extra before him while asking the air.

Mysterious Kaguya's figure emerged from the air, but she said nothing.

Wu Yu asked strangely, "Didn't you withhold quite a bit of Tsunade's Yin Seal Chakra back then? That should be enough to activate the Byakugan, right?"

Mysterious Kaguya said flatly, "Chakra decreases every time it is used..."

Damn, look at how stingy you are!!

Greatly shocked, Wu Yu pointed at Mysterious Kaguya, then at himself. "Don't tell me you're charging for knowledge? If I ask you to do something—" He corrected himself, "—if I ask you to use Chakra to do something, then however much Chakra you expend, I have to reimburse you for that amount?"

Mysterious Kaguya frowned slightly, her Byakugan turning toward him. "I am merely stating the facts. If my Chakra is exhausted, then should you encounter an emergency in the future, there will be very little I can do. I only managed to ambush Tsunade successfully because she had been completely off guard."

Wu Yu understood.

What Mysterious Kaguya meant was that as Nakamori Wu Yu grew stronger, whenever he encountered a situation troublesome enough to bother him, his enemies would most likely no longer be as easy to ambush as Tsunade had been when she viewed him as a harmless child.

By then, if Mysterious Kaguya had no Chakra on hand, there would be very little she could accomplish through Nature Integration alone. She might not even be able to save him.

"Big sis, you know me. I'm only Stamina and Chakra Reserves 2." Having thought it through, Wu Yu readily spread his arms. "If you think it's worth taking, then help yourself."

Mysterious Kaguya truly did not stand on ceremony with the original body. With a sweep of her wide sleeve, she drained the little Chakra currently inside Wu Yu. Then, the Chakra pathways around her eyes bulged, and her Byakugan became even more brilliant, as though they could pierce the void and shine upon the Right Mysterious Extra before them.

"You really licked it clean..." Wu Yu braced himself against the door. Fortunately, she had only drained the Chakra stored in his meridians, so he merely felt utterly exhausted.

If he continued to squeeze out Chakra by draining his physical strength, that would literally mean overdrawing his life force. When Pain invaded Konoha, Kakashi had drained his life force like that to refine Chakra, forcing out one final Kamui before tilting his head and going to see his father. Nagato had died the same way later on.

Mysterious Kaguya only activated her Byakugan for perhaps less than half a second, yet she thoroughly examined every bit of flesh, bone, meridian, and Chakra in the Right Mysterious Extra's body. "Stamina and Chakra Reserves 2, Physical Strength 5, Speed 5."

"You're Stamina and Chakra Reserves 2 too?" Wu Yu had been about to laugh, but then he remembered that she was a clone with only half of the original's Chakra. The original was actually Stamina and Chakra Reserves 4. Suddenly, he could not laugh anymore.

Listlessly, he waved his hand. "Forget it, forget it. I'm heading out to have dinner with my classmates. You stay home and write down every ninjutsu, taijutsu, genjutsu, secret technique, fuinjutsu, barrier ninjutsu... Oh, right. If you know any secrets of the ninja world, any unknown legends or hidden secrets, write down as much as you can. If you really have nothing left to write, then dismiss yourself."

Apparently, he was some wild type born with an abundance of Chakra but without any ninja education or inheritance... Wu Yu pushed open the door, left the apartment building, and headed toward the neighborhood where Kakashi's House was located.

Perhaps people truly were social animals.

Wu Yu, who had grown accustomed to being alone, could not help but quicken his pace when he learned that several kids he had become fairly friendly with were waiting to have dinner with him.

"Hamura..." Mysterious Kaguya's resentful voice suddenly sounded beside his ear.

"What village?" Wu Yu casually pushed back the half of Mysterious Kaguya's face emerging from the air beside him. Seriously, was she not afraid of frightening passing children?

Following the direction she had been facing, Wu Yu quickly spotted Mysterious Kaguya's target.

"Bandages and liniment, same as usual." A long-haired boy with Byakugan was shopping in an Old Shop when he happened to hear the delighted shop owner mention a name. "Tsunade?"

"I remember Tenten really admires that female ninja among the Sannin..."

As he thought that, he suddenly said, "Nakamori Wu Yu, you should know that trying to ambush me from behind is useless before these eyes of mine."

"No way. Do you keep your Byakugan activated all the time?" Naturally, Wu Yu had followed Mysterious Kaguya's gaze to find him. Wu Yu asked in puzzlement, "Do you have that much Chakra to burn?"

Neji Hyuga took the shopping bag and turned around. "Hmph. You're still the same, always going on about innate qualifications like Chakra volume."

When he saw the Konoha Headband on Wu Yu's forehead, he gave something between a sneer and a smile. "So you finally dared to become a Genin? Coward."

"I... have been judged by Neji Hyuga as being a little too extreme?"

Wu Yu reflected on himself for three seconds before saying, "Well, my household is practically out of food. Don't let my appearance fool you—I'm even mooching tonight's dinner off my supervising Jonin. If I don't get a mission tomorrow, I don't even know where I'll find food. How about I mooch a meal at your place?"

Besides, was that cowardice? If you had seen the godlike battles of the Fourth Great Ninja War, you would think you were unworthy of being a ninja too, okay?

Oh, right. Neji probably would not like the Fourth Great Ninja War very much...

"You needn't come begging at my house." Neji Hyuga could not be bothered with this clown. Carrying the shopping bag, he turned and left. "We are not close enough to be called friends."

"..." Mysterious Kaguya's upper face emerged from the air. So now she was not afraid of scaring passing children?

As for himself, he was still at Strength 2, Speed 2, and Stamina and Chakra Reserves 2—still at the level of an Academy student...
