Konoha.
The five of them came out of the Hokage Building. They had turned in their mission and split the reward, and all of them felt relieved. They had only been away from Konoha for two days, but they had at least gone abroad. Looking at the bustling streets of Konoha, Naruto Uzumaki sighed. "Compared to this, the streets in Wave Country are so quiet!"
Kakashi Hatake suggested, "Now that the mission's over, how about we all go out for a meal? We can make up for the one we missed on the day of the Survival Exercise."
"Sure, sure!" Naruto immediately agreed, excited.
"Then... okay..." Sakura Haruno said softly, while her inner self was throwing punches and grinding her teeth. I want to go home and take a hot bath right now!!
"Forget it. I'm going home to train." Sasuke Uchiha started to leave, but Wu Yu grabbed him by the back of his collar and hoisted him up. "How can you be so antisocial? Come on, come on—have one drink, then three more! Or we could have the meal at your house?"
"Sure, sure!" Sakura immediately agreed, excited.
Naruto wasn't too happy about that. "Come on! Sasuke's house... It's such a huge place, but he's the only one living there. It's kind of creepy..."
Seeing the two of them about to exchange glances and forge another bond in their heads, Wu Yu rolled his eyes. He dragged Sasuke along and followed Kakashi, who was leading the way.
Sakura was all smiles. She kept trying to find things to talk about with Sasuke along the way, but he barely responded.
Wu Yu could tell that Sasuke was just a man of few words; he didn't actually dislike Sakura. His aloof, cool-guy image had always kept those annoying female classmates
