The Potions Class that followed proceeded perfectly normally.

Following the usual classroom procedure, Snape divided them into pairs. Luke seized the opportunity and quickly moved over to Taylor. Of course, when it was time to get his hands dirty, he intended to give it a try as well.

The Gryffindor students were still being openly targeted by Snape. Though the Slytherin students did not show their schadenfreude outright, that was already their limit. It would be a long while before they stood up for the Gryffindor students.

"Now, we will brew a simple potion. It is used to treat boils." Snape looked at everyone with cold, stern eyes, as though the potion he had mentioned was not for treating boils, but for bringing back the dead.

"Simpler, and more effective, too. But these ingredients are much more expensive than those in an ordinary potion. The improved effects and simplified process were bought with money."

Taylor spoke with certainty. As a girl with the bloodline of a Seer flowing through her veins, she had considerable faith in her intuition.
