After getting the information he wanted from Peeves, Luke stopped dwelling on the matter.

Luke's pen scratched across the paper. Book leaned closer for a look but could not understand a thing. Then he sprawled beside Luke's hand, closed his eyes, and yawned.

"Either Slytherin's 'Parseltongue' Talent Magic is fundamentally different from 'Parseltongue,' or else..."

Luke's hand paused. His expression remained calm, but his eyes held a trace of astonishment.

"Does Slytherin's 'Talent Magic' have nothing to do with his own 'talent'?"

Luke felt that the whole conjecture seemed rather unreasonable. But... it was still a possibility.

"Forget it. I'm just sorting out my thoughts, not solving a case." He shook his head, closed the notebook in his hand, and stretched.

Listening to the sound of water flowing outside the window, he did not feel as relaxed as usual.

In the normal course of events, Dumbledore was laying out his plans while Voldemort was trying to break them. Harry was the key to breaking that deadlock.
