The Shandia people slept very well.
In just two short days, they had been knocked unconscious by Conqueror's Haki several times in a row. It wasn't until the sun was high in the sky that the Shandia warriors, led by Calpa, began to wake up one after another.
Not far away, Seven and Mihawk were sparring.
They were fighting with nothing but their blades, not using Haki or Flying Slash sword energy.
Clang~ Clang~ Clang~
Watching the two of them clash, Calpa couldn't help but sigh. "No wonder Seven has become so strong."
While they were still sleeping, he had already started training. From now on, the Shandia warriors had to keep up with Seven the Great Warrior.
Time to get moving!!!
Noticing the warriors waking up one after another, Seven ended his spar with Mihawk and led the Shandia army toward the region of Skypiea ruled by Gan Fall.
All he wanted was to be crowned Skypiea's new god as soon as possible.
He could gather resources while continuing to grow stronger.
He'd had the system for over a month, yet all he'd gotten was a single Monkey Fruit, which he'd sold for 1,200 points...
His efficiency was far too low.
In truth, Skypiea's current god, Gan Fall, had long been trying to put an end to the hatred between the Skypieans and the Shandia people, so the two tribes could live in peace.
Unfortunately, Gan Fall wasn't strong enough to suppress them by force and push through everything the way Seven could.
You don't like it? He'd beat you until you did.
Seven wasn't some bleeding-heart pushover. When he'd first crossed over, he'd looked at everyone around him as if they were just paper figures.
He'd been incredibly arrogant.
Only after losing his struggle against reality and fighting desperately to survive had he finally accepted the truth and stopped hoping for a lucky break.
This was a living, breathing world.
The main reason he wanted the Shandia people and the Skypieans to live in peace was that Skypiea was rich in resources. It had not only huge quantities of gold, but all kinds of shells, too.
It was a good place to grow stronger while earning points.
When he heard why Seven had come, Gan Fall not only refused to agree, but even rallied the Skypiean warriors to fight back.
"Skypieans will never be slaves!"
After words failed, Seven drew his Paired Saber. Thunderstorms roared overhead, their flashes mingling with the red-black Haki.
As the two forces swept over them, the Skypiean soldiers all dropped unconscious, leaving Gan Fall standing alone, his body smoking from the lightning.
Gan Fall plopped down on the ground.
"Seven Taro, you hit way too hard."
"Sorry."
Only then did Seven realize that Old Gan had wanted the Skypieans to see the gap in strength, so they wouldn't think of rebelling later.
Gan Fall waved his hand, his expression somewhere between dejection and relief.
"I hope you'll be a worthy god. Otherwise, even if I'm no match for you, I'll still lead my people in rebellion."
Allowing an outsider like Seven to become Skypiea's god was a compromise Gan Fall had made out of desperation.
If the Skypiean warriors had managed to defeat Seven just now, things would have turned out very differently.
Unfortunately, not only had they failed to beat him, but the gap between them had been so vast it was terrifying.
The moment he glared at them, his people had all collapsed.
And if they refused and led their people in a fight to the death?
Gan Fall believed Seven wouldn't hesitate to show the Skypieans what a real pirate was like.
Pirates weren't exactly a bunch of saints.
Seven smiled. "I've always believed in democracy."
And what was democracy? Everyone was equal above him, and ranks were strictly observed below him.
Gan Fall nodded. "I hope so."
"Then," Seven said, looking at Doctor, "wake them up. We're having a banquet!"
The root of the hatred between the two tribes was the extreme scarcity of land above the White Sea, which led to an unequal distribution of resources.
How could that be solved?
Seven didn't have any concrete plans yet.
Even if he did, he would only be responsible for setting policy. It would be up to Gan Fall and Calpa to put it into practice.
But first, they'd get the wine and barbecue going.
If one feast wasn't enough, they'd have two.
While the cooks were busy slaughtering cattle and sheep, Seven asked Gan Fall for different types of Sky Island Shells.
"Shells? Seven... Sir, a man like you doesn't need such things, does he?"
Though he didn't understand why, Gan Fall still obeyed the current god of Skypiea and sent someone to fetch dozens of kinds of shells.
"This is a Laser Dial..."
As Gan Fall introduced the functions of the various shells to Seven, Doctor discreetly edged closer.
"Sir, what will your divine title be?"
The image from the vision flashed through Seven's mind: a figure whose face had been hidden, with only a side profile and chin visible. He smiled.
"Mikoto Shinsondai Goshodono."
"Your title is Thunder God."
Gan Fall nodded thoughtfully. "I'll work with the priests to spread your title across every corner of Skypiea as soon as possible."
Using the excuse that he was going to take a bath, Seven picked up the Sky Island Shells and hid in the bathroom.
After drifting all the way from Loguetown to Skypiea, he had finally reached the moment to reap the rewards.
Sky Island Shells could be reused in battle, but if he priced them too high, they might not sell.
But if he priced them too low, he'd feel like he was losing out.
After a little thought, Seven used the Flying Cape's price of 1,000 points as a reference, drafted the listings, and put up ten kinds of shells on the Trading Platform.
[Laser Dial: 1,000 points, a concealed laser sword that can sever a giant tree in one strike] [Flash Shell: 1,000 points, emits a blinding flash to disrupt the enemy's vision; essential for ambushes] [Impact Shell: 1,000 points, absorbs impacts and releases them; small but powerful, with strong recoil; use with caution] [Impact Dial: 10,000 points, an extinct shell; ten times as powerful as an Impact Shell] [Slash Shell: 1,000 points, unleash a slash with a casual swing; want to become a swordsman too?] [Wind Spray Shell: 1,000 points, an extinct shell with both offensive and mobility applications] [Water Shell: 500 points, a portable water-storage tool that stores and sprays water] [Heat Shell: 500 points, a portable cooking tool that absorbs and releases heat] [Flame Shell: 1,000 points, the Flame-Flame Fruit; even a dog wouldn't eat it] [Octopus Hot Air Balloon: 1,000 points, a Skypiean specialty, perfect for staying alive at high altitudes]
Since Sky Island Shells weren't widely used across the seas, Seven's pricing was a little aggressive—several times higher than the system's direct-sale prices.
He was mainly testing the waters.
There were only a few days left in the month anyway. Once the next month began, his consignment allowance would refresh.
Besides, maybe someone from another world would happen to need them.
"Ding! Your consigned item, Water Shell, was purchased by the Apocalypse User. You received 450 points. Current balance: 716." "Ding! Your consigned item, Laser Dial, was purchased by the Apocalypse User. You received 900 points. Current balance: 1,616." "Ding! Your consigned item, Flame Shell, was purchased by the Naruto User. You received 900 points. Current balance: 2,516." "Ding! Your consigned item, Flash Shell, was purchased by the Naruto User. You received 900 points. Current balance: 3,416."
The series of notification chimes left Seven stunned for a few seconds, then he started grinning from ear to ear.
"Heh, so I've been found out."
Seven had never expected the system to show which world the buyers came from after an item sold.
That meant the Iron Dummy from Teyvat definitely knew he'd bought Dream One Heart.
"Serves you right for showing off!"
"Hell yeah!!!"
After earning over 3,000 points, Seven was in a great mood. He even started wondering if he'd priced the Sky Island Shells too conservatively.
"That guy in the Naruto world probably has a pretty high demand for elemental shells like the Flame Shell."
"Next month, I'll double the price."
