"Sizzle, sizzle, sizzle—!"

A dense sound of dissolution rang out. The True Sun Fire, with its Extreme Yang Extreme Strength, possessed an innate restraint against sharp metal energy. The countless golden rays were like ice and snow meeting boiling oil, rapidly vanishing and vaporizing before the pillar of light. With unstoppable force, the golden-red pillar tore through the rain of light and shot toward Jin Hao, who had revealed his true form behind it.

Jin Hao's expression changed drastically. He had never expected his divine ability to be broken so brutally. With a furious shout, he folded his wings before himself. Golden light surged across them, forming a heavy golden shield.

"Boom!!!"

The pillar of light slammed viciously into the shield. A terrifying explosion erupted as golden-red and gold energies frantically collided and annihilated each other, forming a violent shockwave that spread in all directions. It struck the barrier of light, twisting it violently and making it groan under the strain. Some of those standing close beneath the stage were forced back again and again by the blast.

When the light faded, Jin Hao was seen staggering backward more than a dozen yards. His feet plowed two deep furrows across the Red Jade Ground. His folded wings trembled slightly, their golden glow much dimmer than before. Several illusory golden feathers had even been shaken loose, dissipating before they could touch the ground. His face had turned somewhat pale, and his aura was clearly in disarray.

Taiyi, meanwhile, still stood where he was. Only the golden-red glow around his right fist slowly receded. He shook his wrist and grinned. "Not bad. Those wings are pretty tough. But dodging and blocking alone won't win against me. Got any other moves? If not, I'm getting serious!"

Jin Hao was both shocked and enraged.
