The Thunder Abyss Python

The golden beams of light had already stretched into three golden barriers, linked together to protect Dai Mubai in the middle of the formation.

Yu Xiaogang summoned Luo Sanpao. The three then poured their Soul Power into the triangular formation with all their might, and their Soul Rings flew from their bodies to land on Luo Sanpao at its center.

Luo Sanpao's body rapidly changed. In the blink of an eye, he transformed into a Golden Giant Dragon twenty meters long.

Standing inside the Golden Triangle Formation, Dai Mubai witnessed it all firsthand. He could feel the immense Soul Power sweep over his body, and the mighty presence emanating from the Golden Sacred Dragon above him.

His eyes shone with excitement. He had long heard of the Golden Iron Triangle, but he had never expected to witness, at such close range, the only three-person Martial Soul Fusion Skill on the continent.

As a Soul Master who could also perform a Martial Soul Fusion Skill, Dai Mubai knew how demanding such a skill was. Yet the Soul Power passing over his body felt warm and gentle, and didn't harm him in the slightest.

While yearning for such power, Dai Mubai turned to look at Yu Xiaogang behind him. Admiration showed plainly on his face.

Yu Xiaogang saw the adoration in Dai Mubai's eyes and realized the boy had been captivated by his impressive bearing. He couldn't help feeling pleased with his own charm, but merely smiled and nodded, putting on an air of profundity.

He then guided the Golden Giant Dragon to the middle of the lake.

The Python and two dragons at the lake's center were on guard, not daring to attack rashly. Seeing this, Yu Xiaogang immediately had the Golden Giant Dragon address the two Blue Electric Tyrant Dragon Soul Masters in human speech. "Join forces with me. Let's kill this Thunder Abyss Python first."

The two Soul Masters were overjoyed. They each thanked him in human speech, then joined the Golden Giant Dragon in attacking the Thunder Abyss Python.

The two Blue Electric Tyrant Dragons took the lead and kept the Python occupied, while the Golden Giant Dragon stayed behind to restrain it.

Yu Xiaogang drew on the Soul Power in the Golden Triangle Formation and was about to use his Soul Skills as usual when several messages suddenly came from the Golden Giant Dragon.

After processing them, a smile immediately spread across Yu Xiaogang's face.

After Luo Sanpao had absorbed the Nine-Rank Purple Ganoderma, his appearance had changed, but the transformation hadn't yet manifested in his nature.

Now, with the support of the Trinity Martial Soul Fusion Skill, those changes finally became apparent. The Golden Giant Dragon's Soul Skills had changed considerably.

At Yu Xiaogang's command, the Golden Giant Dragon took a deep breath, then exhaled a vast cloud of Golden Smoke.

The smoke completely enveloped the Python and the two dragons at the lake's center. It was thick with Mist Seeds, which took the opportunity to cling to the Thunder Abyss Python.

The Golden Giant Dragon entered the smoke as well and joined the two Blue Electric Tyrant Dragons in keeping the Python locked in combat.

The Thunder Abyss Python had cultivated for fifty thousand years, and its intelligence was no different from an ordinary person's. Knowing there was something suspicious about the Golden Smoke, it fought even more fiercely against the three dragons around it, trying to escape the cloud as soon as possible.

But Yu Xiaogang and the two Blue Electric Tyrant Dragon Soul Masters wouldn't let it. They kept using Soul Skills to block its way.

The four claws of the two Blue Electric Tyrant Dragons instantly grew several times longer. Lightning crackled around them, sharpening their edges. Huge Lightning Balls, each about two meters across, formed around their bodies and joined the beams of lightning fired from their horns as they attacked the Python.

Yu Xiaogang also made the Golden Giant Dragon swing its claws and unleash its first Soul Skill, Dragon's Roar Wave, at the Thunder Abyss Python.

Attacked from both front and back, the Python had no choice but to channel all the lightning in its body, forming a lightning armor across its scales to block the assault. Yu Xiaogang and the two Blue Electric Tyrant Dragon Soul Masters successfully kept it trapped in the Golden Smoke.

As time passed, the Thunder Abyss Python and the two Blue Electric Tyrant Dragon Soul Masters moved more and more slowly inside the smoke. The Dragon Charm Incense was taking effect.

The Python knew that if things continued like this, it would be worn down to death. It channeled all its Soul Power, and the lightning patterns across its body began releasing a torrent of electricity.

The lightning gathered into countless tiny serpents that crawled up its body and flowed toward its mouth.

As the electricity built, a tremendous force began to gather in its jaws, making its head swell to nearly twice its size.

Yu Xiaogang took the opportunity to dispel the Dragon Charm Incense's hypnotic effect on the two Blue Electric Tyrant Dragon Soul Masters. When he saw the Python's state, he knew they couldn't take its attack head-on, and immediately guided the Golden Giant Dragon away.

The two Blue Electric Tyrant Dragon Soul Masters understood as well and fled in opposite directions.

But the Python ignored them. The three dragons before it had never been its target. It turned its mouth toward the Golden Triangle Formation and fired a beam of lightning at it.

The beam was enormous, containing most of the lightning within the Thunder Abyss Python. Its power was devastating.

The attack struck with a tremendous boom. The earth shook, and the dark lake water churned, sending black waves several meters high into the air.

A brief silence fell over the battlefield. The two Blue Electric Tyrant Dragon Soul Masters were wary of the attack's immense power, and the dust and water vapor around them obscured the battlefield. For a moment, they didn't dare act rashly.

On the other side, the Thunder Abyss Python's lightning beam had gouged a huge trench into the earth, six meters long and six meters deep.

Yet a small patch inside the trench remained untouched. A golden pillar of light stood there: the Golden Triangle Formation, with the Golden Giant Dragon circling above it.

Back when the Golden Iron Triangle traveled the continent, many Soul Masters had tried to attack them directly, just like the Thunder Abyss Python had.

They didn't realize that once the Golden Iron Triangle unleashed their Martial Soul Fusion Skill, the Golden Triangle Formation they formed became invincible. The only way to overcome them was to defeat the Golden Giant Dragon through sheer strength.

"It's time to close the net."

Yu Xiaogang channeled the Soul Power in the formation, used his third Soul Skill, Dragon Flame Net Cover, and activated the Mist Seeds on the Thunder Abyss Python's body.

The Python thought its attack had succeeded and prepared to flee while it had the chance.

But the instant it turned around, countless golden mist strands rapidly sprouted from its body and linked together, forming a net that wrapped around its entire length and restrained its movements.

Then a huge golden net burst through the dust from the direction of the Golden Triangle Formation and dropped over the Python.

The golden net tightened until the Thunder Abyss Python was completely wrapped up like a long, narrow dumpling.

The dust and water vapor gradually cleared. The two Blue Electric Tyrant Dragon Soul Masters looked toward the battlefield and saw a long golden shape standing in the lake. They then looked toward the Golden Triangle Formation and saw the Golden Giant Dragon floating in midair, with the triangular pillar of light still standing behind it.

The two Blue Electric Tyrant Dragon Soul Masters withdrew their Martial Soul Avatars, revealing two middle-aged men, and approached the Golden Giant Dragon.

One of the older Soul Masters spoke. "I'm Yu Xiaolin, of the Blue Electric Tyrant Dragon Clan. Thank you for your help, brother."
