The Purple God Bell

As the night slowly passed, morning arrived before long.

The three of them smiled and nodded. Just then, a knock came from outside the door.

He then ushered a middle-aged man in a blue robe into the office. The three people inside turned to look and immediately recognized him as Yu Xiaogang's third younger brother, Yu Xiaofeng.

Yu Xiaofeng stepped up to them and greeted each in turn, then said, "Since Shrek Academy won this year's Advanced Soul Master Academy Competition, the clan sent me to offer its congratulations."

As the Dean, Flender spoke first to show Yu Xiaofeng due respect. "You're too kind, Brother Xiaofeng. Please, have a seat."

A unit of knights in golden armor stood on the field.

When Yu Xiaogang arrived, he immediately questioned the knights and learned about the unit before him.

The fifty knights were divided into five teams of ten. Each team was led by a Soul Master at the Soul Saint level, while the other nine members were all at the Soul Ancestor level.

"Not bad. Emperor Xue Ye is certainly willing to invest."

Yu Xiaogang looked over the unit and nodded. Soul Masters at the Soul Ancestor level might not be much to the Heaven Dou Empire, but those at the Soul Saint level were undoubtedly Strategic Level assets. The fact that Emperor Xue Ye had dispatched five of them at once showed how determined he was.

Yu Xiaogang went on to ask each of the guards about their Martial Souls. Using the five Soul Saints as the foundation, he rearranged the knights and formed five new teams.

The theory of Martial Soul Heterogeneous Fusion allowed Soul Masters with different Martial Souls to fuse their Soul Power. However, the results varied depending on the types of Martial Souls involved.

The more similar the Martial Souls, the better the Soul Power Fusion would be.

So Yu Xiaogang used the Martial Souls of the five Soul Saints as a basis, broadly sorting the Martial Souls of all fifty knights into five categories to make the Soul Power Fusion training easier later on.
