Yang Jian killed Maitreya Buddha and Subduing Dragon Arhat Fuhu after the Western Sages allowed him to act. Yang Jian then appealed to Haotian to have Fuhu destroyed completely, and Haotian sought the assembled gods’ judgment.

Shen Gongbao revealed his betrayal, and after Immortal Weng was killed and taken by the Investiture of the Gods List, Shen Gongbao turned on Jiang Ziya.

• Daoist Duobao and Zhao Gongming prepared the Pseudo Immortal Slaying Sword Formation and waited for Immortal Weng of the South Pole, Jiang Ziya, and Shen Gongbao to enter it.
• Zhao Gongming and Daoist Duobao attacked the trapped trio, leaving them unable to break the formation or defend themselves.

• You Hun demanded a Nine Provinces Cauldron from Bo Yikao and threatened that Marquis Ji Chang would die if the demand was not met.
• Ji Fa urged Bo Yikao to agree, and You Hun gave them five days to deliver a cauldron or face prison with Marquis Ji Chang.
• Fei Zhong and You Hun celebrated their scheme, then visited Bi Gan, who praised them and invited them to dinner.

• Arhat Dragon-Subduing brought a thousand carts of treasure and the Qingzhou Ding to Chaoge, and Bo Yikao sent the cauldron to You Hun.
• Bo Yikao, Ji Fa, and San Jisheng appeared before Di Xin and pleaded for Ji Chang’s release.
