In the conference room decorated in blue and white, Feng Qi followed Scarlet Institute's management team to a metallic table brimming with technological sophistication.
As he pulled out a chair and sat down, blue lights immediately lit up across the metal table in front of him.
Everyone took their seats in turn, and the lights came on one after another.
There were twenty seats in total, with eighteen people present. Eighteen beams of light lit up. Seated to Feng Qi's left was Director Wei Wei of the Gene Department, while Gu Ke, the security chief, sat to his right. Across from him sat the gray-haired Scarlet Old Dean.
A new round of Scarlet meetings had begun.
The main topic of discussion was the intelligence gathered from the previous Sacrifice Timeline.
After finishing his account, the Scarlet Old Dean turned his gaze toward Feng Qi and nodded at him.
Feng Qi immediately nodded in response. After sweeping his gaze across the room, he began briefly recounting the important intelligence he had obtained on this Sacrifice Timeline.
When he mentioned that the Mist Lord had already been brought into their camp, everyone looked extremely surprised.
Even though they had long known that Feng Qi had such plans, they had not expected the process to move so quickly.
Half a day soon passed. No one left their seat during that time, and they listened intently to his account, occasionally nodding or furrowing their brows.
