Ch. 41How Do You Spell "Poor," Anyway?
In "Excuse Me, How Do You Spell "Poor"", Gret discovers a hidden stash of coins left by his father, including a foreign Gold Coin with a Two-Headed Eagle. He decides to use some of the coins to buy writing supplies. Upon visiting a paper and ink shop in Hartland City, he learns that paper and ink are expensive, with high-quality paper costing as much as 4 Silver Coins per sheet. Gret calculates that he cannot afford to copy the entire book he needs, and reading and writing materials are luxury items. He ends up buying four reams of regular writing paper, a refined goose quill pen, and a large bottle of ink for 2 Gold Coins and 8 Silver Coins, attempting to haggle down the price but facing resistance from the shop assistant.
