Chapter 28: The Supreme Card - The World
"My body... it won't obey me at all..."
The figures kneeling on the ground widened their eyes, their whites bloodshot, their bodies stiff. They couldn't even lift their heads.
Humility, reverence. Their gaze could only see the carpet on the floor, and... the damp spots from their own sweat.
"This is bad... this guy..."
"Why... is he targeting us?"
"A monster with this kind of strength, why is he targeting us?!"
Their inner voices were unheard by anyone, and they could only taste their own fear and bitterness alone.
The train car Su Wu occupied became the quietest on the entire train. Everyone kept their mouths shut, communicating only with hand gestures, occasionally glancing at the figures still kneeling in the corner.
The train attendants were at a loss. They tried to help the kneeling people up, but they couldn't budge them at all. The kneeling figures kept their heads bowed, their faces covered in large beads of sweat, their eyes pleading for help as they sought assistance from the attendants. Yet, their bodies desperately refused to be helped up.
Seeing this, the attendants took a few deep breaths, intending to approach the instigator to plead on behalf of the kneeling individuals.
He's just a young boy, they thought, perhaps he'll calm down if we talk to him.
Before they could reach the boy, they saw him lift his eyes and cast a casual glance their way.
Along with that gaze came a palpable, heavy pressure that bore down on everyone.
"Back off."
His eyes clearly conveyed this message.
At the same moment, the attendants' bodies also stopped obeying their own commands. Their faces turned pale, and they stiffly retreated from the carriage.
The carriage seemed to grow even quieter. Some people even covered their noses, as if worried their breathing would be too loud.
Su Wu, however, was completely immersed in his card abilities and couldn't be bothered with the others for the time being.
After some exploration, he discovered the effects of the Emperor and The World cards.
The effect of [The Emperor - Upright] seemed to have enhanced his control and added an invisible deterrent.
Based on his experiments, this deterrent was equivalent to the pressure of Conqueror's Haki and could intimidate others.
When he, equipped with the Emperor card, said "shut up," everyone shut up. When he said "kneel," those people knelt.
This was clearly a forcibly applied ability.
However, according to the limitations, it probably wouldn't work on people with stronger life energy than him. It might only affect them for a short period?
And this control ability not only worked on others but also on himself. On himself, however, the so-called control meant he could better control his own abilities.
Under the influence of the Emperor card, he gained a new understanding of his Nen ability.
That is, as the number of draws increased, the card effects would be marked in greater detail.
As he gained this new understanding of his Nen ability, brief words gradually appeared on the back of the card in his hand.
[The Emperor - Upright] Buff Card, Effect 1: Control.
[The World - Upright] Buff Card, Effect: Perpetual Vitality.
"Perpetual Vitality?" Su Wu savored the words on his tongue.
He suddenly closed his eyes and began to observe the energy within his body.
Come to think of it, his Cursed Energy and Nen seemed to have been continuously increasing after using The World card.
Given that the card effect lasted for twenty-four hours, this was a supreme support card that provided twenty-four hours of continuous mana regeneration!
If he drew this card during a prolonged battle, it would be a stroke of genius.
He could simply outlast the opponent until they died.
However, due to the randomness of drawing cards, he might not be able to draw it during a fight...

After roughly understanding the effects of the cards he drew today, Su Wu was in an exceptionally good mood, having discovered a god-tier card for prolonged battles.
"We are about to arrive at Banato City. Passengers who will be disembarking, please prepare yourselves," a sweet voice announced over the train's broadcast.
Su Wu happily got up, preparing to disembark. He passed by the kneeling figures by the carriage door without stopping, about to step out.
Everyone in the carriage held their breath, waiting for the "evil god" to leave.
However, just as he was about to step out, he retracted his leg and stopped by the door.
"You can speak now." As if kindly remembering those who were silenced, he said nonchalantly.
His playful gaze fell upon the several figures still kneeling with their heads bowed low.
"And you lot, get up," he said, raising his hand as if bestowing a favor.
The invisible, irresistible pressure that had bound them finally disappeared as he spoke. The figures who had been kneeling collapsed on the ground, exhausted, gasping for breath like dying fish.
"The smarter you are, the more you understand the value of silence, right?" the white-haired youth said with a smile, his voice low.
Everyone nodded frantically, still not daring to make a sound.
He truly left the train then.
Watching the other person's retreating figure disappear completely, everyone on the train breathed a sigh of relief, but they also temporarily lost the mood to talk. Each person sat on their seat, exhausted and dazed.
"We... we survived."
"Yeah..."
"...We survived the monsters..."
The few people collapsed on the ground, utterly exhausted, muttering in disbelief and a dazed tone that they had actually escaped death.
Banato City is a coastal city on the Urubian Continent. It's very common and not special, but thanks to the existence of Banato Port, it's richer than most cities, with a prosperous economy and close maritime trade.
As it's a coastal city, most of the food is species caught from the sea.
Su Wu bought a few skewers of grilled fish from a roadside stall and ate them as he walked.
He loved seafood, but he was allergic to it.
However, he wasn't the same person he used to be. He now possessed abilities, and his physique was also powerful, so...
He looked at the red, swollen lump that suddenly appeared on his hand, his expression somewhat subtle. The grilled fish in his hand suddenly felt exceptionally heavy.
I've transmigrated, I have superpowers, and my seafood allergy hasn't disappeared yet!
"It's fine, it's just an allergy, I won't die." He pondered for less than three seconds before, as if nothing had happened, he continued to eat the grilled fish in his hand.
It's just that he'd have to go to the pharmacy later.
"What are the ways to get from Banato Port to the Aijin Continent?" he casually asked someone by the roadside.
"This is a port city, so the most common way is by ship, of course! There are ships going to the Aijin Continent every month," an old man wearing a vest, slippers, and a straw hat fanned himself as he spoke.
"Besides ships, what else?" Su Wu asked again.
"That would be airships, naturally." The old man had the expression of, Where did this kid come from? Doesn't he even know this?
"Are those the only two?" Su Wu pressed.
"The Urubian Continent and the Aijin Continent are separated by the sea. Besides ships and airships, there really are no other methods," the old man still answered kindly.
"Thanks." Su Wu nodded and continued to wander.
Transportation methods were nothing more than three: sea, land, and air. Land was clearly out of the question, so it was indeed as the old man said; there were only ships and airships.
So, should he choose to take a ship or an airship?
