On a desolate highway in Italy, a cargo truck was moving at a slow pace.

The driver hummed a tune idly, while beneath the passenger seat, a turtle with a gem-encrusted key embedded in its shell lay quietly. Peering through the gem key, one could faintly make out several figures conversing inside.

"Hey, you're an enemy, aren't you?" Narancia the little plane eyed Dawn warily. Before Dawn could answer, Mista of the Sex Pistols spoke up first: "Narancia, Dawn's probably not an enemy. He took care of those two pursuers and saved my life too."

Giorno sat on the sofa, fingers interlaced and trembling slightly, as a fly transformed from a button landed on Dawn's clothes.

Dawn showed no sign of noticing, only smiling meaningfully at Narancia: "No need to worry about me being an enemy. Our goals align in a certain sense."

"So you're saying the Boss sent you?" Bucciarati didn't let his guard down just because Dawn had saved him. Dawn's entrance had left a strong impression.

On the train, he'd fallen alongside Prosciutto, barely catching a rivet at the last second to survive, while Prosciutto was crushed to death by the speeding train.

As for Pesci of the Beach Boys, Dawn had scared him so badly his liver and gallbladder ruptured, killing him on the spot—leaving Bucciarati utterly speechless.

Facing the group's vigilance and distrust, Dawn smiled without a word, lying back on the sofa to rest. Then Trish sidled up beside him.

Clearly, Trish wanted to learn something from Dawn about her father.

"I'm not one of the Boss's men. Spare me the pointless probing, and I won't be spilling any intel about the Boss either." Dawn said lazily, "My arrival is the work of fate. Everything will unfold as destined."

Hearing the word "fate" again, Bucciarati instinctively recalled the Rolling Stone that had foretold his death, and his mood grew heavy.

No one spoke further. After assigning Mista to keep watch outside, everyone began resting.

Mista stood there, silently observing every move in the outside world.

As dusk settled, a violent crash startled the group. Bucciarati, jumpy as a startled bird, quickly asked Mista what had happened.

Mista rubbed his face awkwardly. The driver had spotted them, so he'd knocked him out with a single punch, causing the truck to hit an obstacle and flip over.

Dawn naturally knew how the plot would progress. Next, to find a means of transport, the group decided on a whim to send Giorno and the others to steal a car.

Giorno led the group to a parking lot. To avoid raising suspicion by a single missing car, he summoned his Stand, Golden Experience, and beat every vehicle in the lot to scrap with a flurry of punches.

Outside, Giorno was still pounding away at cars, but inside the turtle, something strange was happening.

Trish, who had gone to the bathroom, vanished in an instant. Bucciarati panicked and was about to search for her when he himself dissolved into blocks and disappeared into thin air.

The entire chamber was left with only Dawn.

Facing this situation, Dawn unleashed his full intimidation. A thunderous pump of blood echoed through the chamber as he spoke in a chilling tone: "Are you ready to face the consequences of attacking me?"

Hidden in the shadows, the Stand Baby Face broke out in a cold sweat. Just as it was at a loss, Giorno outside noticed the anomaly.

Golden Experience slipped into the chamber, enduring the oppressive pressure of the Emperor Engine. Looking around and finding everyone gone, it instinctively turned its suspicion on Dawn.

Just as Giorno was about to speak, Dawn stood up: "It's a Stand attack. Bucciarati and the others have been hit by a Stand attack."

Giorno was shocked. Baby Face immediately attacked him, too afraid to strike Dawn but showing no hesitation against Giorno.

Giorno's tongue was ripped out, and one of his eyes was gouged. He tried to alert his nearby teammates but couldn't make a sound.

At the critical moment, Dawn's shout jolted Giorno awake. "Take the key off the turtle's back!"

Giorno obeyed, and the chamber collapsed instantly, ejecting Dawn and Baby Face onto the grass.

Giorno launched an attack, but Baby Face dodged by breaking itself into countless tiny blocks. In the gap of Giorno's assault, it struck and tore out his throat.

Unable to breathe, the light in Giorno's eyes began to fade.

"Goodbye." Baby Face wanted nothing more than to flee. It materialized, shot a wary glance at Dawn, then turned to hop on its motorcycle and escape.

"Where do you think you're going?" Dawn spoke. He knew Giorno was about to unlock a new ability of Golden Experience, becoming the team's strongest healer, but he had to buy Giorno time—otherwise, Trish would really be taken away by Baby Face.

"I don't want to fight you. Please don't stop me." Baby Face's voice had a childish tone to it; in truth, it had only been born recently.

It was created by Melone of the Assassination Squad using Bucciarati's blood—a natural-born killer.

In a sense, Bucciarati was its biological father.

Baby Face revved the motorcycle, but vines suddenly burst from the ground and tangled around the rear wheel. Not far away, Giorno slowly rose, his wounds fully healed.

Giorno plucked off a ladybug button, used Golden Experience to transform it into the eye Baby Face had gouged out, and reattached it.

"Your ability inspired me. My Golden Experience has grown because of it. Is this fate? Or is there some attraction between us that brought us together?" Giorno stared expressionlessly at Baby Face.

Far away, Melone learned of this and immediately ordered Baby Face not to act rashly, to find an opportunity to ambush and kill the enemy.

Not being on-site, Melone had no idea how much pressure Baby Face was under.

Sweat dripped endlessly. Baby Face dissolved back into blocks, wanting to run but forced to obey orders.

Giorno had a plan in mind and threw a punch.

Baby Face saw it as a good opportunity, dodged the attack, appeared, and took off Giorno's other arm, casually absorbing it.

Seeing this, Dawn initially thought Baby Face would be taken out like in the original story, but nothing happened.

"Giorno, that arm of yours just now?"

Giorno was also puzzled. He had turned a motorcycle into an arm and deliberately offered it to Baby Face to absorb, planning to revert the motorcycle to its original state later and burst Baby Face from the inside.

But because of Dawn's presence, Baby Face was much more cautious, choosing to attack his normal arm instead, throwing off Giorno's calculation.

"Ah~ Is it past twelve already?"

The battle atmosphere eased a bit with Dawn's words. He looked down at his watch, and countless Chinese characters began to emerge above his head.

"Mr. Dawn, is that... your Stand?"

Giorno stared at Dawn gravely, and Baby Face did the same, even with a look of impending death already creeping onto its face.

What are those ever-changing, profound symbols? Is this unfathomable bastard finally going to make a move on me? Damn it!

"No way! I'm not dying here!"

Baby Face shouted in panic.

"Quick! Get me back! I don't want to fight this man!"

Far away, Melone was baffled. The murder machine he had created seemed to be malfunctioning, actually fleeing from battle.

Under their gazes, Dawn calmly raised his right hand and snapped his fingers with a crisp, clear sound.

The text froze.

A string of purple characters quietly appeared.
