On the road to the Venice station, Dawn was still sitting in the passenger seat.

The sky was already showing a pale fish-belly white, and all around was silent, with only the sound of seawater splashing into his ears.

Giorno drove quietly, occasionally glancing at the rearview mirror, on alert for any possible enemies.

"Mr. Dawn."

Mista suddenly spoke.

"What is it, Mista? Aren't we almost at the mission site?"

Dawn lit a cigarette, offered it to Giorno, who shook his head in refusal, then Dawn took a drag himself, blowing out smoke.

"Mr. Dawn, I'm afraid we can't travel together anymore."

Mista finally spoke up: "Bucciarati received orders from the Boss. The Boss wants us to eliminate you."

Giorno, focused on driving, diverted some attention to Dawn, as if waiting for his reaction.

"I don't want to kill you. You saved me and Bucciarati. So, when we reach the Venice station, please leave this place, change your name, and go into hiding to escape the pursuit."

Mista looked at the revolver in his hand. Just then, a hand reached over.

Dawn leaned halfway out of his seat, grabbed Mista's hand, and said with a smile, "If you don't kill me here and this gets exposed, both Bucciarati and you will die."

Mista lowered his head. He knew that, of course, but he couldn't bring himself to kill Dawn.

"So, Mr. Dawn, please, you have to change your name..."

"Then let's kill the Boss."

Dawn interrupted.

"What?!"

Mista and Giorno stared at Dawn in shock.

Ever since the organization was founded, everyone who secretly investigated the Boss had died without a trace, let alone something like killing the Boss.

It was nothing short of a fantasy. The Boss wasn't just one person; he had a criminal organization spread across all of Italy.

Countless Stand users were working for him in the shadows. This move was like a mantis trying to stop a chariot.

Dawn slowly took a drag of his cigarette. Against the flickering light in the smoke, he didn't look like he was bluffing or joking.

"That's for later. For now..."

Dawn looked at the car window, where thick frost had already formed.

"Let's deal with the enemy in front of us first."

Assassination Squad member, White Album's Ghiaccio, was attacking.

An extreme cold swept in. A man covered in thick ice armor was lying on the car roof, pounding heavily on the metal.

The intense cold radiating from him seeped into the car, freezing Mista to his seat. Giorno tried to hit the brakes, only to find them frozen solid.

"You three split from the team to pick up something important, right? Answer me, Mista!"

Ghiaccio pounded the roof again, and more cold air poured in through the gaps. Even the cigarette in Dawn's hand froze into a solid block of ice.

Roar~

From the thick clouds in the sky came the faint, low growl of an unknown creature.

Because his entire body was encased in thick ice, Ghiaccio didn't hear this hair-raising sound. He just kept trying to freeze the three of them completely.

"Golden Experience!"

Giorno tried to activate his ability, to turn the car into an animal, but the temperature around them had already dropped to -20 degrees. No living thing could survive in such cold.

"Mista, shoot. Hot bullets can briefly counteract the cold."

Dawn was frozen too, but he wasn't panicked at all. Instead, he handed Mista a few bullets.

Mista understood immediately. He quickly loaded the bullets and fired five shots at the roof.

"Now, Giorno. I'll yell it for you this time. Golden Experience!"

Dawn shouted. Giorno activated his ability on cue. The bullets embedded in the ice instantly transformed into the most resilient plant roots, sending Ghiaccio flying.

"Crisis averted for now. But be careful—he'll catch up."

"Mr. Dawn, you seem to know a lot about his ability?"

Giorno focused on driving, and sure enough, Ghiaccio was approaching fast, skiing along in his ice armor.

Soon, Ghiaccio was next to the car again. He ripped open the trunk and grabbed Mista's arm in the back seat.

Before Mista could react, one of his arms was covered in ice crystals, on the verge of being ruined.

"Damn it, I have to shake him off!"

Giorno steeled himself, said "Hold on tight," and then wrenched the steering wheel. The car crashed through the guardrail and plunged into the sea.

"Mista, let me see your resolve."

Dawn seized the opportunity to slip out of the car, spinning in midair. At the last possible moment, a tiny dragon shadow coiled around him.

The dragon shadow grew with the wind, turning into a long dragon that carried Dawn up into the clouds. As it twisted and turned, a metal dragon head emerged, looking down at the battle below.
