I rarely called Ye Qingxian "Baby."
That was because I almost only called my own children "Baby." It was an affectionate term, one that sounded most like a mother caring for her young child.
Further back along the timeline, I had indeed called Qing Ye "Baby."
The reason was-I wanted to give her the same love I gave my own baby.
Later, when I called Ye Qingxian that, it was because I wanted to give her the same title as Qing Ye. The things I'd thought about at the beginning no longer came into it.
A mother's love for her child was surely the deepest and strongest kind of familial love, incomparable to anything else.
And I had promised Qing Ye that she would have an equal place in my heart.
That showed just how powerful the love I felt for my first love was.
Because.
By then, I had already silently decided in my heart that I would spend my whole life with her.
Yangyang had cried in her mother's arms for a while. Now she was hiding in a corner, embarrassed and reflecting on herself.
Ahhh, what had she just been doing?
Why was she so immature?
Her mother had only shown her a little concern, and it was as if something had gone off in her head. Her emotions had completely burst their banks.
She shouldn't have been like that.
The moment her mother's warm embrace enveloped her, it was as if she'd forgotten everything, even how to think. All that remained was a child's instinctive attachment to and trust in her mother. The negative emotions that followed had come so suddenly that even Yangyang had never imagined she could feel so wronged that she'd cry her eyes out.
And it hadn't just been for a minute.
