The several surges of saintly power were the most eye-catching. They belonged to the Three Pure Ones of Kunlun Mountain, Western Jieyin and Zhunti, Chaos Nuwa, East King Duke and Queen Mother of the West from the Eastern Sea, and Saint Pingxin from the Place of Reincarnation.
High above the Ninth Heaven, the breach grew wider and wider. As saintly power descended, several streaks of light flew out and arrived at the rupture in an instant. A closer look revealed a pearl, a lotus, and three treasure diagrams.
They were East King Duke's supreme treasure, the Chaos Bead; Western Jieyin's treasure, the Twelve-grade Merit Golden Lotus; Queen Mother of the West's and Nuwa's treasure diagrams, the Qiankun Diagram and the Mountain and River Map; and Taiqing Laozi's Innate Supreme Treasure, the Taiji Diagram.
The treasures unfurled, blotting out the sky and covering the earth. Using their power to contain space, they caught the Weak Water pouring down. The water stopped cascading, and the floods across the land gradually weakened. The great powers cast their spells to drain the water, slowing the deaths of living beings.
Saint Pingxin and Nuwa each used their saintly power to protect the survivors of the Witch and Demon Races. The land was now utterly devastated, and the sky had split apart—the very image of a great calamity.
