Eleven went out of town for a wedding feast and only got back last night. There were no updates these past two days, but here's the first chapter for today.
Though the Human, Chan, and Jie Three Sects differed in doctrine and each had their own disagreements, everyone—including Primordial Heavenly Lord and Tongtian, despite their deep-seated grudges—believed that if the Three Pure Ones became one, they could still control much of the Primordial World's discourse.
In fact, that was indeed the case. Even though East King Duke's combat prowess was unmatched, on par with Laozi's and perhaps even slightly greater, he had originally been the only Primordial Grand Unity Golden Immortal for a short time. The Primordial World was still ruled by Heavenly Dao Saints, which gave the Three Pure Ones a considerable advantage.
But now, ever since the mysterious Jun Tian Dao Venerable had proved the Dao and become the second Primordial Grand Unity, the situation in the Primordial World had grown somewhat delicate. Zhenyuanzi's becoming a Saint this time would have an even more far-reaching impact.
Jun Tian Dao Venerable's proving the Dao and attaining Primordial Unity had only involved him alone. Zhenyuanzi was different: his proving the Dao represented a powerful faction. The Earth Immortal Lineage had established Mountain Gods, River Earls, City Gods, and Land Gods, but that was still of little consequence to Saints; they were merely minor gods.
But once an Earthly Dao Saint appeared, he would not be the only one. Saint Pingxin stood behind him as well, mysterious and unfathomable. And the Earthly Dao was a place of merit; even if the Three Teachings united as one, they might not be able to oppose it easily.
The changes in the Primordial World had already begun, and might affect how the Investiture
