"Is it over?"
Nagato's face darkened, his eyes filled with anger.
Though he had fallen behind, he wasn't someone the other side could toy with at will. Besides, he had already escaped his opponent's "Planetary Devastation," and the cooldown on his own "Limbo: Border Jail" was almost over. The outcome was still far from decided!
Though furious, he knew that if the fight continued, he was very likely to lose. So he had already decided that once "Limbo: Border Jail" recovered, he would immediately send out a Limbo shadow to find a way to wake Obito.
He hadn't done so earlier for two reasons. First, "A" had attacked so fiercely that he couldn't spare a moment. Second, he hadn't been as desperate for an ally as he was now.
Now he knew he had to set his pride aside!
Just then, Shinji slowly raised his right hand toward Nagato.
Nagato immediately gathered his scattered thoughts and became alert. "The winner between us hasn't been decided yet!"
"Ha." Shinji gave a soft laugh, then called out, "Imperial God Palace!"
"Damn it, that's his Dojutsu."
A thought flashed through Nagato's mind, but it abruptly stopped before it could continue, as if all his thoughts had frozen at that moment.
He had been on guard against Shinji using "Imperial God Palace" to immobilize Obito. But after Shinji had trapped Obito and didn't use it again, Nagato had assumed the technique had a long cooldown or some other limitation.
He couldn't exactly be blamed for thinking that way. Powerful Dojutsu often came with all kinds of restrictions.
What he hadn't realized was that the restriction on Shinji's use of "Imperial God Palace" wasn't a cooldown or anything else of the sort. It was the Three-Tails and Yang Nine-Tails he carried within himself.
