Aboard the Flying Fortress.
After successfully becoming the Ten-Tails Jinchuriki, Shinji received congratulations from his subordinates, then ordered them to head for the Land of Fire. Afterward, he returned to the central training ground alone.
The changes to his body were still ongoing, so he needed some time to carefully examine them.
He went to a mirror and studied his reflection.
The most obvious change in his appearance was the pair of small, hornlike protrusions that had grown on his forehead. He reached out and felt them, muttering, "They really are bone."
He wasn't surprised by this change.
Although the members of the Otsutsuki Clan all looked different, every one of them had these kinds of bony protrusions on their heads. Kaguya Otsutsuki had them, as did the Sage of Six Paths, Momoshiki, and Isshiki.
So after Shinji sealed the Ten-Tails and gained power on par with that of a true Otsutsuki, it was only natural for his appearance to change this way.
After all, Obito and Madara, who had both become Ten-Tails Jinchuriki in the original timeline, had looked the same.
Unlike Obito and Madara in the original timeline, however, Shinji's appearance had barely changed apart from the two small protrusions on his forehead. If he had to name another change, it was that his skin had become slightly fairer.
That was a very noticeable difference from the sickly skin tone Obito and Madara had developed after becoming Ten-Tails Jinchuriki.
The corner of Shinji's mouth lifted.
With his current insight, he naturally knew the reason for this difference.
Simply put, both Obito and Madara could only be considered incomplete Ten-Tails Jinchuriki.
Their incompleteness was due in part to the Ten-Tails they had sealed being incomplete, and in part to their inability to suppress it sufficiently, which had left their
