Amid a series of piercing whistles, black Truth-Seeking Orbs flew like missiles around the Divine Tree, relentlessly attacking the mountain-sized Flesh Puppets approaching it.
The Flesh Puppets' ultimate biological armor, capable of withstanding a nuclear blast, offered no resistance at all against the Truth-Seeking Orbs. The orbs pierced straight through it in an instant.
This seemingly astonishing scene was, in fact, perfectly normal.
After all, Truth-Seeking Orbs were formed by combining Chakra with all seven natures of Yin, Yang, and the five basic elements. Their power far surpassed Dust Release, a Kekkei Tōta.
And Dust Release already had the ability to ignore a target's hardness and reduce it to atoms in an instant.
So no matter how sturdy the Flesh Puppets' armor was, without Six Paths Power, it was difficult to stand against a Truth-Seeking Orb head-on.
On the Divine Tree.
Shinji leaned against the trunk with his arms folded, gazing down at the battlefield below.
The area within a dozen miles of the Divine Tree was now strewn with the Flesh Puppets' blood-soaked corpses. They lay packed together in layer upon layer. If Alice, Hengo, and the others saw the sight, they would surely cry out in shock.
Though he was the one behind it all, Shinji felt no pride.
The Flesh Puppets below, seemingly clumsy and utterly helpless against the Truth-Seeking Orbs, were no measure of the Breeding Overlord's true strength.
Shinji knew full well that most of the Breeding Overlord's power was still blocked outside by T33's spatial barrier. These Flesh Puppets were only a tiny fraction of the power it had managed to seep through—less than a drop in the ocean compared to the Breeding Overlord itself.
Other Lantern Bearers might have congratulated themselves for defeating Overlord creations of this caliber,
