Shinji's Archmage was, naturally, Shion, the Miko who had been diligently studying magic all this time.
In terms of strength alone, Shion, as a fully realized Miko, was already no weaker than any Archmage in the Six Rings World. Now that she was studying magic as well, she had begun forming a Magic Ring. Her strength was close to the threshold, and she could break through to the Six Paths level at any moment.
So having Shion, the Miko of the Shinobi World, temporarily fill in as an Archmage in the Six Rings World—filling the gap in the Magic Ring barrier left by the Storm Archmage's death—was a last resort.
After a brief moment of shock, Arcane asked urgently, "Captain, can you really invite an Archmage here?"
"Mm!" Shinji nodded slightly, then said, "But I can't guarantee she'll work seamlessly with the other five Archmages!"
This world was named after the Six Rings, which showed that its six Archmages, whose mantle had been passed down in an orderly fashion, knew one another well and worked together in perfect harmony. Though Shion was as powerful as the other five Archmages, if not stronger, she was still only a half-trained mage, and she had yet to fully form her Magic Ring. How she would work with the other five Archmages was therefore a problem that couldn't be ignored.
Arcane nodded as he said, "Coordination between the Magic Rings really is a major issue. But even if they don't work together perfectly, having one more Archmage would still be much better than things are now. Captain, if possible, please invite that Archmage to the Six Rings World as soon as you can!"
Shinji replied, "That won't be a problem. I can arrange for her to come as soon as possible."
Arcane's spirits lifted.
