The Dark Light Bug seemed able to read Shinji's thoughts. Using organs utterly unlike a human's, it let out a strange laugh.
Anyone else would never have recognized it as laughter, but Shinji could tell the other party was laughing—and mockingly, too, as if everything about him were beneath notice.
Shinji didn't get angry, though. His emotions didn't even stir.
There was one thing he was certain of: the Bewitching Overlord wasn't powerful enough to look down on him. At least, not before the spatial barrier of World 6 had completely shattered. The Bewitching Overlord didn't have that kind of strength yet, so none of its behavior could be trusted. It was all a deliberate illusion.
So Shinji beckoned to the Dark Light Bug, daring it to come and try.
The Dark Light Bug didn't hesitate. With a swift whoosh, it closed in on Shinji.

Shinji, in Godly Emperor Mode, struck with all his might, colliding with the oncoming Dark Light Bug in a deep, low-frequency thud.
Along with that low-frequency shockwave came wave after wave of indescribable aftershocks, whether shockwaves or something else, sweeping rapidly outward. Everything in their path—both the swarms of bugs and the Black Flame of Amaterasu—was reduced to dust!
Neither paid any attention to the destruction spreading around them. Their eyes seemed fixed only on each other as they fought fiercely in the air!
Every blow Shinji landed in Godly Emperor Mode carried the force of a nuclear explosion. The Dark Light Bug was just as powerful, if not more, putting Shinji under tremendous pressure. It felt as though he were fighting some kind of monster he could never defeat.
