Based on his earlier estimates, Fuma Ichiro alone would have been enough. But now that Shinji had driven back the Bewitching Overlord in World 6 and obtained more planetary energy than expected, Fuma Ichiro alone was no longer enough.
Still, Shinji didn't rush to reject Amado's proposal.
First, no matter how much the Research Institute sped up its preparations, it would take at least a week or two to hold another ritual, perhaps even longer. The Six Rings World couldn't wait that long.
Second, there was something strange about the ritual. If he hadn't been so busy, he would have wanted to investigate it more deeply. Since he didn't have the time to look into it now, suspending it was a prudent choice.
After considering it for a moment, Shinji said, "All right. Put the ritual on hold for now!"

Amado let out a long breath.

According to the reports' conclusions, all three profilers agreed that Fuma Ichiro had shown clear signs of split personality disorder after the ritual.
Once Shinji had finished reading, Amado lit a cigarette. "I suspect Fuma Ichiro has been influenced by something."
