Shinji didn't know why Ada had asked that. Smiling with interest, he said, "Did your 'Telescopic Eye' see something?"
Ada shook her head. "Not exactly."
"My sister has mastered the divine art 'Omnipotence,'" Daemon explained. "She can usually get a vague sense of who we're going to meet and what's going to happen. She asked because she never expected you to be the one in the meeting room!"
With that, Daemon shrank back and didn't dare meet Shinji's eyes.
Clearly, Ada wasn't the only one who sensed something was off. Daemon, who had also mastered a divine art, felt it too when he faced Shinji. He just couldn't put his finger on what was causing that unease.
Shinji smiled.
Naturally, he wasn't about to tell the siblings that he had successfully advanced to Kekkei Sōra. And Otsutsuki Shibai, the source of all divine arts, was almost certainly an Otsutsuki who had reached the Kekkei Sōra level.
Regardless of what kind of terrifying presence he had become in Ada and Daemon's eyes, Shinji stated why he had summoned them. "I want to know where Orochimaru is right now."
Ada looked surprised. "Orochimaru?"
Daemon perked up. "Are we going after that annoying guy?"
Shinji glanced at him. "Annoying?"
Daemon nodded. "I don't know why, but I just find him really annoying. I don't want to be around him."
Ada had already activated her Telescopic Eye and begun searching for Orochimaru.
After quite a while, even Daemon was starting to get impatient when Ada finally furrowed her brow and said, "I can't find him!"
Daemon was stunned. "How is that possible?"
"He's evaded my Telescopic Eye before," Ada said. "But before he did, I got a general sense that he was somewhere over the sea to the east."
"Out at sea?"
Shinji pondered
