After secretly escorting Neji and Kimimaro back to their respective homes, Shinji quietly returned to his apartment.

Today had been a real surprise for him.

Even he hadn't expected Neji, Kimimaro, and "H" to awaken the Tenseigan so smoothly.

What excited him even more was that the circumstances behind the birth of this pair of Tenseigan were so fortuitous: they had no true original owner.

Neither Neji nor Kimimaro, who had provided the Chakra, nor "H," who had fused it, could yet be considered the eyes' owner. If anything, the three of them merely qualified to become their owner.

So there were actually four people who could become the original owner of this pair of Tenseigan.

Though Shinji wasn't the one most closely connected to the Tenseigan, his own strength spoke for itself. Once he awakened the Rinnegan, his power would rise another level, making him strong enough to bear a pair of Tenseigan on his own.

Then he could distinguish himself through his overwhelming strength and become the original owner recognized by the eyes.
