Shinji brought Karin, Haku, and Nameless to the records room to complete their final registration.
Once the last of the paperwork was done, all four changed into ANBU uniforms and officially became members of Konoha Anbu.
They went to the mask room.
Shinji glanced around, then casually picked up a Cat Mask.
Karin hesitated before taking a Fox Mask from the rack. Haku smiled and chose a Dog Mask that looked rather simple and honest.
When it was Nameless's turn, she agonized over the choice for ages.
Karin asked, "Nameless, still haven't picked one?"
Nameless nodded. "Mm. There are so many masks. I can't decide which one to choose!"
Since they would be teammates in the future, Karin and Haku had quickly grown familiar with Nameless thanks to Shinji's introductions.
Nameless was a straightforward person. On top of that, like Karin and Haku, she wasn't a native of Konoha, so the three of them naturally gravitated toward one another.
Nameless knew that Karin and Haku were Shinji's subordinates in every sense of the word, so she was very friendly toward them. Before long, the three of them had become close despite having met only a few days earlier.
As Karin and Haku helped Nameless decide which mask to pick, Shinji casually took a Crow Mask from the rack and examined it.
The Crow Mask resembled the plague doctor masks worn in medieval Europe, with a prominent beak jutting out from the front.
Seeing it, Nameless came over. "I'll take that one!"
Shinji smiled and handed her the Crow Mask.
Nameless immediately put it on and asked everyone, "How does it look?"
Shinji gave her a good look. He had to admit, in a Konoha ANBU uniform and a Crow Mask, her slender figure gave her an unusual air
