After saying goodbye to Karin, Shinji secretly met with Yakumo, dressed in Akatsuki garb.
"Sir!"
Upon seeing Shinji, Yakumo respectfully bowed.
Shinji waved for her to rise, then asked calmly, "How did the task I gave you go?"
Yakumo quickly took a vial of medicine from her ninja tool pouch and presented it to Shinji in her palm. "Sir, this is the new Type Two Aging Potion you asked for."
Shinji smiled faintly and accepted it.
It was obvious.
The reason Shinji had arranged to meet Yakumo was to use her to obtain the research team's latest creation: the Type Two Aging Potion.
As a member of the team, Shinji could have obtained the Type Two Aging Potion himself. He could even have used the formula from the potion team to synthesize one by hand in his secret laboratory.
But to ensure his identity wouldn't be exposed, he had still obtained the Type Two Aging Potion through Yakumo.
Once Shinji had taken the potion, Yakumo hurriedly cautioned him, "Sir, this new Aging Agent hasn't undergone clinical trials, so its effects are uncertain. Please be sure to use it with caution."

In a secluded grove, Sasuke, dressed in Akatsuki garb, asked Haku, who was dressed the same way, "Why did the leader tell us to wait here?"
Haku shook her head and replied calmly, "I'm not sure either."
"He's always so secretive about everything."

Just then, a figure swept down before them with a rush of wind, then slowly emerged from the shadows.
Recognizing the newcomer, Haku and Sasuke quickly bowed. "Sir!"
