In the eyes of the Upper Moon demons, the only true enemies in the Shinobi World were members of the Akatsuki Organization, clad in Red Cloud outfits.
Among the other shinobi in the Shinobi World, there were certainly some strong ones, but most were just frail "food" in their eyes.
And so,
when the Upper Moon Five realized that the ones surrounding him were merely shinobi from the villages, he puffed himself up again.
He had also expended a great deal of Chakra and flesh in his recent fight with an Akatsuki member, so these shinobi from the villages were just what he needed to replenish himself.
The chain snapping made Tsunade pause for a moment, but she quickly reacted and called, "Yakumo!"
In truth, Tsunade didn't need to give the order.
The instant the chain broke, Yakumo clapped her hands together with a sharp smack and shouted, "Wood Release: Deep Forest Emergence!"
Rumble!
In an instant, countless vines burst from the ground, and the trees already surrounding them grew wildly, surging toward the Upper Moon Five.
The Upper Moon Five's enormous body, standing two or three stories tall, was nothing beneath the countless rapidly growing vines and trees. After he roared, "You're all going to die!" it took only the blink of an eye for Wood Release to swallow him up.
Tsunade watched the Upper Moon Five struggle within the Wood Release, her expression grave.
The others in the squad remained on guard, too.
The Upper Moon Five was still struggling fiercely inside the Wood Release. Each time he fought back, he tore through a swath of trees. If Yakumo hadn't kept pouring in Wood Release Chakra to nourish the vines and trees, the Upper Moon Five would have nearly escaped.
