"Ahh."

As they watched the waterwheel gradually collapse into ruins, the Starfire Knights let out blank, stunned noises.

Even the Starfire Knights were like this, so the soldiers were even slower to react.

"Did I do something wrong?"

The soldier who had eagerly lit the Campfire earlier wore a completely bewildered expression. Trembling, he raised the hand that had lit it and swallowed hard.

"Hiss."

Tami sucked in a sharp breath, suddenly feeling his legs go weak.

It was back. That familiar feeling was back. This was Sain Underground City!

The Campfire was still an absolutely safe place, as always, but damn it, it had become the trigger for the collapse of the giant waterwheel!

"I give up."

Tami let out a long breath. For some reason, only Sain Underground City in its current state gave him that familiar sense of security.

Thank goodness. I thought Sain Underground City had changed its ways. Turns out it still had the same old flavor.

However, some discordant notes appeared at that very moment.

After countless grueling battles, Tami's strength had long surpassed what it once was. He had improved greatly and developed broad Aura Perception abilities.

Within his perception, quite a few dangerous auras emerged from every corner of Blighttown. They all belonged to monsters.

Even the upper level of Blighttown, which they had already cleared once, had begun to give off many new auras!

The upper level of Blighttown had originally contained only those ordinary diseased residents. Their auras had been highly similar, but now entirely different monsters had appeared, and there was more than one kind.

Clearly, the true Blighttown had only now revealed itself before them.

Everything they had experienced earlier had merely been a little bait Blighttown had created to lure them into its trap.
