It felt as though his brain had been burned just now. Though it had healed in an instant, the pain still seemed to linger in his memory.

He took out Luluwo's notes and flipped through them, but found nothing relevant. After the pyromancy mentor, the notes became sparse, with only a jumble of unsorted scraps left behind.
It seemed the Rebel Army had not fully explored the place either. Even Blighttown had been left unfinished.
Kaius closed the notes and looked toward Blighttown again. He intended to find this so-called boss and see just how strong it was!

Since their goal had been pyromancy, they had headed straight for Blighttown after entering. They had not gone out of their way to delve deeper into the Undead Parish, challenge the Twin Gargoyles, or ring the bell.
Luluwo's notes described the Twin Gargoyles as formidable, but gave no indication of just how formidable they were.
Hewei's map, on the other hand, said: Although they're strong, they're nothing compared to us! We can knock them down whenever we want!
