These racial talents spanned several different qualities.
[Demon Hour] was purple quality. It had played a key role in the battle against the ogre chief just now, and was currently his strongest talent. For the time being, he probably couldn't advance it to a higher quality.
Among his many blue-quality talents, the ones he used most often were [Special Stomach] and [Tough Scale Bloodline]. He could just about include [Ghost Form] among them.
In truth, he hadn't used Ghost Form that many times, but every time he did, it had been critical, turning the tide of battle. So he had included this talent among the candidates, too.

So he had to use them selectively.
Gauss's attention shifted between the three talents.
Special Stomach could improve his ability to replenish his supplies. Last night, he had relied on this talent to keep consuming magic stones and rapidly replenish his energy.
However, he could only consume low-grade magic stones for now. He had also tried cutting up and eating some mid-grade stones, but had soon felt unwell and thrown them up.
And consuming a large number of low-grade magic stones in a short time would put a strain on his body.
But
Normally, unless he was in a large-scale battle like last night's, Gauss's exceptional reserves of magic power meant he had no need to consume so many magic stones in such a short time that it damaged his body.
