Unexpected Lord
After Gauss's Red Dragon Group began its official exploration of the 5th Floor, the other adventurers gradually received word that the 5th Floor had opened.
Adventurers began gathering in large numbers on the 4th Floor.
"Everyone, make one final check of your gear."
Everyone knew how dangerous it was to enter a new floor.
The deeper they went, the more likely they were to encounter high-level monsters.
On the 4th Floor, most high-level monsters were Level 5 or below, and the chances of encountering a Level 6 Commander Grade monster were relatively low.
But the deeper they ventured into the labyrinth, the more quickly their chances of encountering higher-level monsters rose.
Although every adventuring group had Master Professionals capable of standing against Commander Grade monsters, that didn't mean they could face the threat posed by such monsters without fear.
Real battles weren't like those in games, where you could compare stats and levels, with one general facing another and one army fighting another.
Battles in reality were far more complicated. Even a factor no one thought important could cause an entire team to be wiped out like an avalanche.
This was especially true for low-level professionals who lacked the ability to protect themselves.
Their stamina and mana were limited. Once caught in a Beast Tide, they would soon face mortal danger. The only things they could rely on were the weapons in their hands, the companions beside them, and the items and potions in their bags.
The passage leading to the 5th Floor was packed with people.
Although most were adventuring groups, each group was also divided into smaller teams.
Unlike Lone Wolf Teams, however, these teams worked together more seamlessly, and their members were also better balanced.
