Hefis Fully Awakens
Aside from finalizing the sale of the spoils, the following meeting settled several other matters.
First, Gauss would not be in a hurry to open Timbel's Sixth Floor. The main consideration was that exploration of the Fifth Floor was far from complete. Besides, rushing to open the Sixth Floor offered Gauss little advantage. After all, his map only displayed the first five floors. From the Sixth Floor onward, he would be starting from the same line as every other adventurer group.
Furthermore, the spoils their own adventurer group had gathered were enough to warrant sending someone out to sell them, while also replenishing basic supplies and ensuring their resource reserves remained at a healthy level.
So, he decided to "rest and regroup" on the Fifth Floor for a while.
And since the item needed to open the next floor of the labyrinth was in the hands of the one who had defeated Eden, he naturally needed to inform everyone else.
Most of those present had no objections to this announcement.
After all, forget the Fifth Floor—even the Fourth Floor had not yet been explored particularly thoroughly. The reason was simply that Gauss's efficiency at pushing through the labyrinth was far too fast.
Recklessly entering the Sixth Floor would become a vicious competition for everyone.
Large-scale expeditions needed to proceed one step at a time. Moving too quickly would easily increase the chances of encountering uncontrollable, unknown risks.
A small number of people showed some hesitation, but seeing that no one else objected—and that this was Gauss's decision—they wisely kept their mouths shut.
After all, Gauss was the hero who had defeated the lord Demonic Beast. He already had the right to decide when to open the next floor. The fact that he was openly informing them now
