Ascension into a Dragon
Eden's lair was rather empty, plain enough to be called simple.
Only a few glowstones were embedded in the hollows of the rock walls, giving off a faint, ghostly light.
Beyond that was a pile of items gathered together, along with a small medicinal field where several wilted Magic Plant seedlings had been planted.
"Take it all. There's no use leaving it behind anyway."
Eden sighed.
After all, it had lived here for quite some time. It was somewhat reluctant to part with the place.
But there truly was no point in leaving these things here. Even if Gauss did not take them, once the magic array weakened with the passage of time, other adventurers or Demonic Beasts that came here would eventually break through.
"Don't worry. Alya will take good care of the seedlings you raised."
"Alya is the elf in your party?"
"Mm."
While Gauss and Eden spoke quietly, Alya had already stepped forward, carefully lifted the seedlings from the soil, and transplanted them into temporary pots.
They would all eventually enter Alya's dream world and thrive there.
At the very least, they would have a brighter future than following Eden, a half-baked farmer.
Just look at them—after Eden planted them in this sunless cave, they were practically withering away.
Gauss suspected that if they had arrived a few days later, they would have seen nothing but several dead plant stalks.
Thus, the saying that every trade had its specialist had proven itself correct. So what if Eden, as a Demon King species and the King of Slimes, possessed an instinctive, crystal-clear Talent for magic power?
It was still powerless when it came to planting flowers and growing grass.
Besides the specially collected Magic Plant seedlings, there were also moonstones, gemstones, low- and mid-grade
