Ye Feng selects Qingming Hetong Heaven as his destination when ascending from the Tianqing Realm, judging it safer than other options while still offering worthwhile opportunities. He arrives safely in the Shattered Star Sea Domain and intends to contact Chen Daozhi. 288 358

Its apparent safety is relative. A survey cited in later records states that nearly 40% of newly ascended beings die within fifty years from incidents in Qingming Hetong Heaven. 550

Early political structure

The hidden ruling body is the Divine Court. To manage the world openly, it advances the Heavenly Palace as a visible force; the Heavenly Palace is largely composed of young Divine Court disciples sent into the wider world for training. 411

Qin Huang serves as Co-lord of Heaven and Earth, a position tied to the world’s authority and the support of its Heaven and Earth Will. The world later recognizes Ye Feng as a successor candidate after Qin Huang agrees to transfer the Co-lord position to him. 1285 1746
