Reminds me of the unusual sharpness and silence I noticed on Tongtian before.
Combined with the Destruction Dao Rhyme, Jieyin and Zhunti they sensed at this moment, enlightenment flashed through their hearts almost at the same time:
God-Slaying Spear! Twelve-petal Destruction Black Lotus!
Tongtian must have refined and comprehended these two treasures of the past Demon Ancestor Luohu, and deeply integrated their Daoist charm into his own Seizing Dao!
His "interception" is not only "capturing vitality", but also contains the terrifying core of "breaking the situation with destruction" and "opening a new chapter with ending"!
This made Jieyin and Zhunti feel awe-struck.
Tongtian's way has become more dangerous and more powerful.
This road that combines the orthodox Mystic Sect concept with the essence of the top Devil Dao treasure is full of unpredictability.
While they were secretly vigilant, they couldn't help but begin to absorb and analyze the parts of Tongtian's Tao that were useful to them.
"Seeking change within the given, striving for success within the constraints... Although these concepts are drastic, they may be inspiring for us to break the deadlock and get rid of the 'determination' of our Western Lands poverty."
Zhunti thought quickly in his mind, "Although Dao of Destruction and Finality is different from Annihilation, it may be able to provide a more 'direct' way of getting rid of Karmic Retribution and cutting off the entanglement of Karma? You need to be careful to learn from it..."
Tongtian gushed endlessly, elaborating on the essence of Seizing Dao, his admiration for "change", and his belief in "power", which was naturally mixed with his emphasis on fighting and tempering.
After speaking, he took a deep breath and seemed much more relaxed. He looked at Jieyin and Zhunti and said, "My way is probably like this. What do you two think?"
Jieyin put his hands together and said slowly:
"Fellow Daoist Tongtian's way is to be determined and enterprising, to be decisive and decisive, which is admirable.
The principles of 'change' contained in it are quite enlightening for me Western Lands to think about how to 'change' poverty into prosperity."
He avoided mentioning Destruction Dao Rhyme and only took the meaning of "seeking change".
Zhunti also smiled and complimented a few words, but his fear of the destructive aura was even deeper.
After Tongtian, according to age, it should be Primordial Heavenly Lord. Yuanshi saw Tongtian openly and honestly.
Then he straightened his expression and began to explain his Jade Purity Great Dao and Dao of Order.
"My way of teaching focuses on the word 'preface'."
Primordial Heavenly Lord has a magnificent voice with natural majesty.
Jade Purity Immortal Light flows naturally, and behind him emerges a grand scene with clear latitude and longitude of the sky and earth, the arrangement of stars, the positioning of mountains and rivers, and all things Each in Their Place.
Everything is in order, each performs its duties and follows its own principles, forming a stable, harmonious and efficient universe model.
"Heavenly Dao Execution has its constant principles; All Things Born has its established order.
This principle and sequence are manifestations of the Great Way, and should not be disrespected or confused.
My Yuqing lineage is to explain this heavenly principle, maintain this order, and make everything return to its proper place and have its own destiny."
Yuanshi's explanation is full of emphasis on "rules", "levels" and "boundaries". "Disorder leads to chaos, and chaos leads to disaster.
Therefore, we should establish rules to determine the square and circle, clarify the dignity and inferiority to correct ethics, and distinguish between good and evil to guide all living beings.
If you follow the laws of nature, you will have a long life; if you go against the order, you will be punished by heaven."
His Tao is almost diametrically opposed to Tongtian's "Jie" Tao, which places more emphasis on stability, inheritance, rules and orthodoxy.
In the scene of his manifestation, the web of rules was torn apart by Tongtian's "sword light".
It has been rewoven and reinforced by "Laws of Order" that is more solid, meticulous and shining with Jade Purity Immortal Light, and even the light of "Variable" has been incorporated into a specific and controlled track for execution.
Jieyin and Zhunti listened with rapt attention, especially Zhunti, with a twinkle in his eye.
Order! This is exactly what they need most to build "Western Pure Land"!
How to build a stable, clean, well-organized and efficient Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss in the barren, chaotic, Western Lands where Karma is intertwined?
Primordial Heavenly Lord's profound understanding and construction concept of "order" is simply a textbook delivered to your door!
They quickly absorbed the essence of the Yuanshi way:
How to establish fundamental rules, how to divide the hierarchical system, how to coordinate the operation of various parts, how to maintain the authority and stability of order...
These concepts, combined with their ambitious Pure Land blueprint based on Annihilation, suddenly made the original somewhat vague "bliss" idea more operable and systematic!
Yuanshi's "Shun Tian Yingli" can be transformed into "Pure Land Order is constructed according to the rules of Vow Power Karma".
"Wonderful! Yuanshi Daoist friend This Dao has really good words!" Zhunti couldn't help but admire, this time with a bit of sincerity, "Order is the foundation of religion, Pure Land's bone. What Daoist friend said made the poor Daoist suddenly enlightened!"
Yuanshi nodded slightly, feeling a little satisfied with the Two from the West's "knowledge of goods", but he also saw their eagerness to apply it, and slightly criticized its "utility" in his heart, but when discussing the truth, it is inconvenient to say more.
Finally, it's Laozi's turn.
Laozi always looked calm, as if the conversation between the two younger brothers and the Two from the West just now had nothing to do with him.
He slowly opened his half-closed eyes, which seemed to contain endless Chaos and calmness, and said, "My way is to do nothing, to be natural."
There were no startling visions, no strong Daoist rhyme fluctuations, only a gentle and silent breath of peace that moisturized everything.
This breath seems to be able to calm all restlessness and resolve all sharpness, allowing the rigorous order of Yuanshi and the remaining sharpness of Tongtian to naturally soften and blend into the broader "background".
"The Highest Good is Like Water, water is good Benefit All Things without fighting, and is disliked by everyone, so it is close to the Tao."
Laozi said in an ethereal voice, "Doing nothing does not mean not doing anything. It means not doing anything rashly, not forcefully, complying with the trend of nature, and following the foundation of the great road.
All things are done without hesitation, they are born without being, they are done without relying on them, and they do not live in them when they are accomplished. I only live in them, so I do not go away."
He explained a kind of the Supreme Realm: not deliberately pursuing, not forcibly interfering, not obsessed with gains and losses, just like the heaven and earth nourishing all things but without words, and the great road moving Qiankun without intention.
In this state, the mind and Dao Alignment can see the essence more clearly, and the actions can coincide with God's will, and get twice the result with half the effort.
The so-called "indifferent" refers to the detachment of the state of mind, the complete transcendence of external names and internal desires, and the ultimate embodiment of "seeing simplicity, embracing simplicity, and being less selfish and reticent".
Laozi's way seems to be the simplest, but in fact it is the most difficult.
It requires practitioners to have extremely high wisdom to see through illusions, extremely tenacious mind to overcome desires, and extremely broad mind to accommodate everything.
This is a code of conduct and state of mind that is close to the state of "Tao" itself.
Jieyin and Zhunti were fascinated by it, but at the same time they felt a deep sense of powerlessness.
Laozi's realm is too high. This kind of "inaction" and "indifferent" that is natural and in harmony with the Tao is almost an impossible task for them.
Western Lands is barren and in urgent need of revitalization; all living beings are suffering and in urgent need of salvation; they themselves also have the obsession of sanctification and great prosperity. How can they truly achieve "no fighting", "no possession", "no reliance", and "no residence"?
However, in this seemingly contradictory and out of reach.
The minds of Jieyin and Zhunti, who are good at "flexibility" and "calculation", almost simultaneously came up with a deviant but seemingly feasible idea -
Since it is difficult for the original mind to achieve the natural "inaction" and "indifferent", can we use "subtraction" and cut off those things that hinder "inaction" to forcibly achieve a similar state?
For example, cut off the seven emotions and six desires!
Joy, anger, worry, thought, sadness, fear, surprise, these are strong emotional fluctuations.
It is the root cause that causes people to deviate from peace, create attachments, and lead to arrogant behavior!
Desires and attachments such as greed, anger, ignorance, pride, and doubt are cancers that hinder the purity of the original mind!
If you use Method of Severing Corpses, or similar secret techniques, these "lusts" can be cut out as "obsession" or "Evil Corpse", Strip Away, or even Annihilation.
So what is left is a "Tao body" that is close to "heartless and desireless" and "Pure and Non-acting"?
Although you may have lost the natural "vitality" and "agility" mentioned by Laozi, you can achieve a "pseudo-inaction" state of absolute rationality, absolute calmness, and unmoved by external objects!
This state, for Two Saints of the West who needs to calmly calculate and tenaciously implement grand plans, may be more "practical" than the real Laozi way!
