The quiet night had suddenly turned eerie and sinister.

The evil presence in the house was far more uncanny than they had expected!

Without Yue Wen noticing at all, Zhao Xing'er and Professor Guan had both been swallowed by the paintings on the wall. It was quite unexpected.

Yue Wen didn't dare touch the painting near Guan Qin first. Professor Guan was an elderly, frail mortal, with declining vitality; he couldn't withstand much. Yue Wen went straight to the painting of Zhao Xing'er and lightly knocked on its frame. "Xing'er, can you hear me?"

Chill swept through the air, briefly blocking his view. When he looked at the scene in the painting again, Zhao Xing'er had one foot on the blue-faced ghost and was swinging the red tongue of a long-tongued ghost by one hand, back and forth so fast it blurred.

The whole scene had suddenly taken on an anime-like quality.
