Early the next morning, Bai Yue arrived at the airport with the president of Limit Martial Hall and the others. Under their watchful eyes, he and War God Yang Hui passed security and quickly departed down the passageway.
The enormous UFO-shaped passenger plane they had arrived in was parked inside the airport. The two of them boarded it via the gangway.
"Mr. Yang, your seats are in the first-class cabin on the top deck," a flight attendant said with a smile as soon as they entered.
"Mm." The two nodded.
The cabin was decorated in a dreamlike style. The first-class cabin was circular, so the seats were arranged in a ring. A projected three-dimensional virtual display occupied the empty space in the center.
After finding their seats, Bai Yue sat beside War God Yang Hui. Once the other passengers had boarded, the plane would take off.
"This is your first time flying, isn't it? Limit Martial Hall will reimburse the cost this time. Next time, if you fly on your own, you'll have to pay for it yourself. Tickets are quite expensive these days, though for someone like you, it should be a drop in the bucket," Yang Hui said to Bai Yue. He vaguely knew about Bai Yue's financial situation. How could someone personally received by Hong be ordinary?
"Haha, it's nothing special. Don't tease me," Bai Yue said somewhat embarrassedly.
Rumble... Accompanied by the deep roar of the engines, the passenger plane finally took off.
More than an hour later, the plane finally landed at the airport of Hongning Base City. They had arrived at the global headquarters of Limit Martial Hall.
The entire Base City was exceptionally beautiful, with architecture modeled after every era of ancient China. Pavilions, towers, artificial hills, and gardens could be seen everywhere.
War God Yang Hui introduced the place from beside him. "During the Great Nirvana, the Hall Master led a group of followers to establish a base on this land, sheltering the many refugees who fled here. It has grown larger and larger ever since. With the Hall Master here, Hongning Base City is the safest place in the world!"
Bai Yue was equally astonished. Among the world's five great powers and twenty-three Base Cities, Hong controlled one of them. Together with Limit Martial Hall, which spread across the entire globe, his influence truly deserved to be called the greatest in the world.
Of course, he could control all this because of his invincible strength.
As they spoke, the car arrived before a building that resembled a spaceship. Bai Yue followed behind Yang Hui and entered directly.
He had learned on the way here that Hong wanted to see him. Being able to meet the current strongest person on Earth, Bai Yue was greatly looking forward to it.
They went straight to a quiet tea room on the top floor. Hong, dressed in black robes with black hair, was already seated in a chair with a teacup in hand. Seeing Bai Yue enter, he gestured for him to sit.
"At such a young age, you already possess this level of strength, and you even created such exquisite Martial Skills as Moonwalk. I was truly surprised, so I presumptuously asked Yang Hui to bring you here to meet me," Hong said, setting down his teacup.
"You flatter me, Hall Master. Compared to your legend, my little accomplishments are hardly worth mentioning," Bai Yue replied modestly.
"I called you here primarily to meet you and to reward you for making the body-tempering manual public for free."
"There's no need for that, is there? As an orphan, I was able to grow up, study, and practice martial arts while enjoying the benefits society provided. Now that I have the ability, it is only right that I give something back," Bai Yue said sincerely to Hong.
"You need not refuse. Your task now is to grow stronger as quickly as possible. That is the greatest contribution you can make to humanity."
Hong took a sip of tea and continued, "We have made our decision. You may freely choose one cultivation manual, and Limit Martial Hall will additionally give you a dose of Dragon Blood to accelerate the improvement of your physical fitness."
"Isn't that too valuable?" Dragon Blood was worth eighty billion. Even though he had become quite wealthy over the past few days from selling the manual, he could barely afford one or two doses.
"Take it when it is offered. You deserve it. The fact that you could create several such exquisite Martial Skills shows your cultivation talent. It seems you are also practicing World Destroyer. How has your training been going?" Hong asked with a smile.
Before Hong, Bai Yue did not conceal anything. He truthfully explained his insights into World Destroyer. When Hong heard that Bai Yue had independently figured out and created the fourth level, he was greatly surprised.
"I never expected you to possess such talent in Martial Skills." Hong sighed with emotion. As the creator of an ultimate manual like World Destroyer, he understood the hardships involved.
"You have this kind of talent, so sending you to the Elite Training Camp for step-by-step training may not necessarily suit you. With your force-generation level, you would be more than qualified to be an instructor. You have merely trained for too short a time, so your physical fitness is somewhat lacking. However, after using Dragon Blood, it should improve considerably."
After a pause, Hong continued, "How about this? Go to the Training Camp and serve as a Martial Skills instructor. You may use all of the Training Camp's equipment, and when you have spare time, give those trainees some guidance. Of course, your priority is improving yourself. Once your progress reaches a bottleneck, I will arrange work for you then." Hong made his decision.
"Thank you, Hall Master. This arrangement is truly excellent." Bai Yue's voice carried gratitude. They were neither family nor friends, yet Hong had taken such good care of him simply because he had contributed a cultivation manual. It allowed him to truly understand the breadth of heart possessed by the strongest person on Earth.
He had originally wanted to join the Elite Training Camp because of its resources and Ancient Civilization Equipment. With the income from selling the manual, he could buy resources with money, so what he truly wanted was the Ancient Civilization Equipment. Outside, no amount of money could buy such things.
"Making you an instructor gives you certain conveniences, but you will also lose some rewards. You will have to purchase some cultivation supplies yourself. With your current income, I believe you can afford them."
"That is only proper. I also have to thank you, Hall Master, regarding the income." It was not difficult to guess. Comparing it with the listed price of the manual he had uploaded, he knew that Limit Martial Hall had not taken any commission from him. Thus, Bai Yue expressed his gratitude again.
"Have Yang Hui take you to the Training Camp. Someone will coordinate with you later regarding those items."
After their conversation, Bai Yue left the tea room. He found Yang Hui waiting outside, and the two took a car to the Training Camp.
The moment they entered the Training Camp's gates, a massive dragon-shaped sculpture came into view. It stood over fifty meters tall, a gigantic black dragon. As soon as one met its enormous eyes, one could feel endless dark pressure bearing down, making it hard to breathe.
Every scale of the giant dragon was a small display screen showing the names and rankings of certain trainees.
no. 1: Renatus Bridge (530321). no. 2: Chu Qiang (540601). ...
"Your name would originally have appeared up there too. Who would have thought you would become an instructor instead? The Training Camp is going to get lively. These people are all troublemakers, and it will not be easy to bring them into line," Yang Hui said from beside him.
"Haha, we'll see." Bai Yue did not say much. Only strength could convince people; saying anything more when he had just arrived would be pointless.
"I'll take you to where you'll be staying first. After you put down your things, I'll show you around." Yang Hui led him deeper into the Training Camp, toward a villa district. Some people along the way cast curious looks at them, but no one came over to greet them.
It was an elegant two-story villa that continued the traditional Chinese style. Even the interior decorations were antique in design. There was no sofa or television, though fortunately it was equipped with a laptop. "This is your residence." Bai Yue was quite satisfied with the surroundings.
After resting briefly, Yang Hui took him on a continued tour of the Training Camp.
