Wu Xuan battled Fourth Elder, a Titled Douluo, destroying several of his Netherworld swords with his Annihilation Dragon Claw skills. Fourth Elder survived the attacks and prepared his Seventh Soul Skill as Wu Xuan summoned a storm of lightning with Forest Thunder Shining World.

• Fourth Elder’s Nether Blood Sword blocked Wu Xuan’s attack before Annihilation Light destroyed it, and Wu Xuan pressed forward with his Soul Breaking Spear.
• Fourth Elder summoned three additional Netherworld Swords and used Netherworld Power and Myriad Nether Blades to attack Wu Xuan.
• Wu Xuan protected himself with Mysterious Crystal Body Protection, then unleashed Annihilation Storm, destroying three more of Fourth Elder’s Nine Nether Swords.
• Fourth Elder used his Void soul bone skill to avoid the worst of the blast, while Wu Xuan activated Forest Thunder Shining World and filled the sky with lightning.
• Fourth Elder, exhausted but still standing, raised his Netherworld Sword and began to activate his Seventh Soul Skill.

Wu Xuan defeated Fourth Elder with Divine Might—Soul Break, but Fourth Elder launched a desperate soul-bone counterattack. Ye Guyi intervened with her Indestructible Barrier and transformed her sword into the Sun Sacred Sword, meeting Fourth Elder’s charge as Electrolux watched and considered taking her as his successor.

• Fourth Elder used his Martial Soul Avatar and Netherworld Myriad Ghost Sword, then unleashed his ninth soul skill against Wu Xuan.
• Wu Xuan endured the attack and pierced Fourth Elder with Divine Might—Soul Break, leaving them both badly injured.

• The Fourth Elder shattered Wu Xuan's Invincible Shield and struck him, but Ye Guyi killed the Fourth Elder with the Sun Sacred Sword while Wu Xuan survived with severe injuries.

Meanwhile, Wu Xuan recovered, reached Level 66, created a new soul skill, and prepared to leave with Ye Guyi to confront the Holy Spirit Cult again.

• Nangong Wan accused Lu Chong and Shrek Academy of stealing the Xi Shui Alliance’s treasure vault and killing Fourth.
• Zhongli Wu ordered Demon Blade Douluo to investigate Shrek’s Inner Court after he attempted to break through to Level 95, giving him half a year.

Wu Xuan and Ye Guyi found a hidden Holy Spirit Cult branch and attacked its members. After they killed the Second Holy Spirit, the Great Holy Spirit began burning his soul rings and unleashed a surge of trapped souls, but Wu Xuan struck him with his dragon claw.

• Ke Ke learned that Yang Xuan was the champion of Infinite Arena Defense and begged Huo Yuhao to bring her to meet him.
• Huo Yuhao chose to try Electrolux’s method to become stronger, while Electrolux considered passing his legacy to Ye Guyi.
• Wu Xuan and Ye Guyi searched for and found the inconspicuous abandoned church housing the Holy Spirit Cult branch.

• Ye Guyi purified the underground hall, killed the Evil Soul Saint, and wiped out the remaining Evil Soul Masters after one tried to lead them in a mass self-destruction.
• Wu Xuan and Ye Guyi looted the branch and burned it down with Green Flame before leaving Ming Capital.
• The city guards could not extinguish the Green Flame, which burned the church to ashes without spreading or harming them.

Electrolux used enslavement magic to help Huo Yuhao absorb the hundred-thousand-year ice dragon’s Soul Ring, splitting its power into two sealed purple rings. He accepted Ye Guyi as a disciple and taught Wu Xuan two forms of magic, leaving Huo Yuhao unconscious in gray mist.

• Electrolux drew the ice dragon’s bead from the Soul Beast Embryo and sent it into Huo Yuhao, who collapsed as the energy filled two vacant Soul Ring slots with purple rings.

• Wu Xuan filled several warehouses with Rare Metals and left the Soul Tool Department after Xian Lin'er and Qian Duoduo thanked him.
• Wu Xuan met Xiao Xiao outside the Soul Tool Department, and she complained that he had disappeared for half a year.

Wu Xuan returned to Shrek Academy to watch Ye Guyi take the Inner Court assessment, where Qian Gu Ming faced Dai Huabin in the opening match. The fight began with Dai Huabin deflecting Qian Gu Ming’s powerful staff strike, leaving their contest unresolved.

• Wu Xuan called Qian Gu Ming and learned that the Inner Court entrance assessment was taking place at the Battle Soul Arena.
• Wu Xuan arrived and greeted Wang Yan and Han Ruo Ruo before taking his place to watch the assessment.

Nanmen Yun'er passed her advancement assessment, while Zhu Lu, Ning Tian, and Wu Feng failed to qualify for the Inner Court. Beibei then faced Ye Guyi, a six-ring Soul Emperor, and the battle was still underway when his lightning broke apart her sword lights.

• Han Ruo Ruo ended Nanmen Yun'er's assessment, praised her performance, and admitted her to the Inner Court.
• Wang Dong defeated Zhu Lu, and Han Ruo Ruo judged Zhu Lu unqualified for the Inner Court.
• Beibei examined Ning Tian and Wu Feng, but neither qualified despite Wu Feng's support from the Seven Treasures Glazed Tile Pagoda.
• Wang Yan announced Beibei's match against Ye Guyi, who revealed her six Soul Rings and Divine Angel Martial Soul.
