But in truth, the others seemed familiar to him, too.

The curse flowing through his body came from a power sharing the same origin as the Ghost Tree's, yet it fit Yin Yang City perfectly. Combined with the Lingren's attitude, it was hard not to suspect that the source of the Ghost Tree's power was also one of the evil gods.
