Shu Xiaonan hadn't noticed that the handsome guy who had stunned her at first sight was walking toward her.
She held up the red-lacquered wish plaque she'd just bought in both hands and jokingly showed it off to her best friend. "See? I told you I'm always lucky. Now that I've got this wish plaque too, I'm a master of wish-granting!"
It was a pretty chuuni thing to say, but at eighteen or nineteen, people's jokes were always full of all sorts of dramatic elements.
