Warm yellow lamplight swayed across the screen, and the candle flame flickered as it rose.

The candle lighting was like a fuse. A few more soft clicks sounded around the room, and all the light sources in different spots switched on one after another.

In an instant, the private room was brightly lit. A translucent figure had appeared sitting on the couch, head lowered as though lost in thought.

Yu Xing was barely half a meter from the shadow. He could see that it was a woman. She wasn't wearing ancient clothing, but a blue dress in a Western style. Her long hair curled slightly and had been carefully styled into a princess updo, falling smoothly down her slender back.
