Dragging his suitcase, Yu Xing sat in the waiting lounge, looking sleepy.
Today's itinerary was exactly what he'd expected last night: first, a flight, then several transfers after they landed.
A mother and daughter sitting beside him were verbally tearing into their "damned second uncle and his family." Across from them, a few young people were gaming together. Since they were in public, they kept even their "holy shit" and "you suck ass" to a low murmur, earning Yu Xing's approval for their manners.
Yu Xing rested his chin in his hand and let the sounds from all directions wash over him.
He sat at the very end of a long row of seats. Zhao Mou's half a butt occupied the armrest beside him. Since they were heading to a remote area, Zhao Mou had rarely forgone his suit in favor of casual clothes that were easier to move around in. His usually carefully styled hair hung naturally, making him look several years younger.
