About twenty minutes later, Old Huang sent the inn's address to Zhao Mou's phone.
Compared with the town's other facilities, it had quite a few inns. Old Huang was willing to spend the money, too, and had booked them the best one, with three rooms.
They were really only going to leave their luggage there and probably wouldn't have a chance to stay overnight, but Zhao Mou didn't tell him that. He sent Old Huang a deposit.
It wasn't a deposit for the inn. It was an advance for the guide.
The generous payment put a huge smile on Old Huang's face. He waited for them at the inn's entrance, then eagerly helped carry all their luggage up to the rooms before waiting in the lounge while the three of them got ready.
At around four, the three of them came downstairs, each with a mountaineering backpack.
Old Huang was taken aback. He had thought Mr. Zhao and the handsome young man who was the tallest of them would change into professional gear before setting out. He hadn't expected them to look exactly the same coming out of the inn as they had going in.

After muttering to himself, Old Huang went up to greet them. For some reason, he didn't quite dare look at Mr. Zhao's gloomy-looking brother, so he turned to Mr. Zhao instead. "Are we setting off now? We should get into the mountains before dark, while we can still see the way."
Zhao Mou glanced at Old Huang's pack, confirmed that he was experienced, and nodded. "We'll pick someone else up at the foot
