He leaned to the right, and the dagger stabbed at empty air. He seized Aran's wrist as she followed through.

Her wet ponytail flicked a spray of water droplets into the air. He coughed and said, "All right, that's enough. There's no surveillance in the tower right now. You don't have to put on such a show."
