To Fatty's disappointment, there wasn't a ghost waiting to get beaten up in the kitchen. Instead, there was a claw machine glowing green.
It stood beside a sink barely hanging onto the wall. Compared to the dusty sink, the claw machine was spotless, as if it had just rolled off the assembly line.
Looking more closely, it seemed the machine itself wasn't glowing green. Rather, the dolls inside were all green, tinting the light it gave off.
The more Fatty looked at the claw machine, the more familiar it seemed. He soon figured out why.
He stared at the densely packed green dog puppets inside and, as if he couldn't believe his eyes, leaned closer until his face was right up against the glass.
He studied the puppets for a long time before asking in confusion, "Doctor, why are they all Puppet Dogs?"
They had white bellies and green fur. Apart from lacking the gold limited-edition mark on their foreheads, they were identical to Puppet Dog. These looked like motionless versions of him.
